EDUCATING OUR PATIENTS

VOLUME

NorthShore Health Centers is dedicated to fighting the fight against diabetes and educating the communities we serve

LENDING A HELPING HAND

Raven and Angie waited with the patient until she was able to secure a ride and showed her a great level of compassion. Thank you for going beyond the call to serve our patients and making NorthShore their first choice when it comes to care.

Raven White and Angie Gonzalez recently helped a patient facing a dilemma The patient was in a wheelchair and had to wait hours after our clinic closed for a ride home, as the transportation service that dropped her off earlier refused to pick her up after her appointment. 18,ISSUE 12
Each month, NorthShore hosts "Diabetic Diner," where participants learn to make diabeticfriendly meals. The class was recently highlighted in an article by NWI. Life. "It helps people get an understanding of of what they should be eating so their blood sugar doesn't spike," said Marysol Mendez, Health and Wellness Educator Learn more about Diabetic Diner here and check out our February class schedule.
