MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear Graduates of 2020, Congratulations on your graduation from Nevada State College! It has been a year like no other. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, you did it! Your perseverance and grit to succeed amid such a difficult scenario are attributes you will utilize for a lifetime. Today, we continue to celebrate your academic achievements as the largest graduating class in the College’s history!

Although we have not been able to celebrate with a traditional commencement ceremony yet, we hope to do so later this academic year. Right now, today is all about you and your accomplishments. This moment is an incredible time in your personal journey, and we are honored to be part of it. You have set a high standard for student excellence and the kind of community involvement that is much needed during these unprecedented times. Your education will unlock doors and avail you to contribute to our community in meaningful ways. To those of you that are the first in your families to hold a degree, your impressive achievement will also have a lasting ripple effect that will surprise you and make you proud.
