Masonicare Primary Care Physicians announces Expanded Hours for the Community

I am extremely honored to be speaking today. Today is a day unlike any other in our lifetime and nothing can ever replace it — we are North Haven High School’s class of 2010. As I look around at my fellow classmates I see the men and women we have become, I see all we have accomplished, all we have learned, and all our futures hold. Many of us have been dreaming of this day for a while — now suddenly it is here all too fast. I learned in AP Psychology this year that everyone dreams — the question is whether we remember them. When I was little, I always remembered my dreams — every detail. You might even still remember some dreams you had as a child. The dreams we had when we were younger, we believed in them. We aspired to be a teacher, or a doctor, or a firefighter, or maybe even a professional athlete. Think of the dreams you had, the dreams you have for yourself as you leave North Haven High School, think of where you want to be, think of what you want to be doing, what’s going to make you happy, think of it right now — and hold on to it. Hold on to your dreams. We have overcome many challenges through our four year stay at NHHS. Whether it be the challenge of learning our way around the school itself, the challenge of balancing our academics, our extracurricular, and social lives, the challenge to fathom where we belong with respect to the others around us, or the even greater challenge of who we are to ourselves — we will continually progress as individuals with each obstacle we cross. In a world of face book, form spring, text messaging, and instant messaging, challenges will face us that have faced no other generation before us. But in an “ever changing world” we will adapt, and we will persevere. As many of us have found, friends have changed, and friends will continue to change, but some will stay by our side. Through our life we will gain and lose a lot. We will gain knowledge, and lose naiveté. We will gain experience, and

Our Primary Care Physicians from l to r: Alla Bernshteyn, MD, Geriatrician; Robert Elwell, MD, Family Practice; Ronald Schwartz, MD, Internal Medicine

To accommodate the busy schedules of our patients and their families, we’re now open Evenings, Saturdays and through Lunchtime. We are accepting new patients and can assist in transferring records. Our patient-centered team has been caring for adults from the greater Wallingford community since 1997. If you don’t have a primary care physician — or would like to make a fresh start — and are over the age of 18, give us a call. We are conveniently located on the first floor of Masonicare’s new Medical Office Building at 67 Masonic Avenue, right off Route 150, in Wallingford. And, should you need a blood test or x-ray, Clinical Lab Partners and MidState Radiology Associates have offices in our building.
