It all starts with you.
Celebrating the individuality and journey of every student. It all starts with you.

For my whole life I have been told that school is like your second home and I never felt that until I got to Oxford Sixth Form College. Coming here has given me the confidence and drive I needed to realise what I want to do next. I feel very comfortable here, all of the staff are kind and have really helped me in the last year.”

Diana, A-Level Student

Welcome to Oxford Sixth Form College

A highly successful, independent college located in the heart of Oxford, specialising in Two-Year A-Level and BTEC Business, One-Year GCSE Programmes, Pre-ALevel and Study Abroad Programmes.

We strongly believe that one size does not fit all. Every student has different aspirations and abilities and through a focused, inclusive admissions process, small class sizes and individual holistic support from Senior Tutors, we provide an environment in which students can really thrive and pursue their own personal path.

The results speak for themselves. We are among the top 1% of schools and colleges in England for progress at A-Level and across the past three years nearly one third of our students have progressed to a QS World Top 100 university (www.qs.com/rankings).

Our students progress to a wide range of degree programmes at top UK universities, including business management and economics; mathematics, engineering and computer science; medicine; law; art and creative media; history and international relations.

Whilst the biggest percentage of our students are British (20%), with a cohort of over 35 nationalities we celebrate and welcome the cultural diversity and global outlook that this brings to the college. Our central-Oxford location provides students with the best of British culture at their doorstep and our curriculum ensures an authentic UK education experience.

Being part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools means that we can take your sixth form experience beyond the classroom, through expeditions and working with students at Nord Anglia schools across the world through Global Campus.

Oxford Sixth Form College can provide what you need to help you reach your goals, whether that’s a strong support network, a university applications expert, a focused learning hub, or your own personal mentor.

I am looking forward to meeting you soon.

Carole has worked in education for over 35 years and her career to date includes 15 years in Senior Management, pastoral and academic roles in sixth form colleges. With a focus upon the academically non-selective sixth form college sector, Carole is a passionate believer in celebrating every student’s success, not solely those of the academic high achievers.

When I first started at this college, my main concern was making new friends. I was able to make really good friends as everyone at the college was very friendly and welcoming. I got to meet different types of students from different parts of the world who have great ambition for the future. I was also part of the Student Council which was a great experience to be in as it was fun to create new activities, organise events at the college and to represent the student’s voice at the college.
