Operation Monarch Our work on bringing a new and modern HIS is evolving as we become closer to our go-live date in September 2024. ‘Project Monarch’ has evolved into ‘Operation Monarch’ to demonstrate the initiative as a corporate priority across the organization, and to signal to our teams that we are entering its training and testing phase.

What to Expect in 2024: Training Role-based Learning Journeys are virtual and Hands-on Learning Labs are in-classroom and begin late March. will take place between August 5 and September 27. • These journeys will allow users to discover, explore and build skills in a training environment that simulates the real HIS system.

Learning labs will be structured, instructor-led training designed to mimic role-based, day-in-the-life scenarios and workflows to help prepare everyone for Go Live.
•
Content will be released on a five-week schedule in a micro-learning format.
•
Lessons will be available via a Learning Portal, as well as mobile, and can be reviewed multiple times.
•
They will have flexible schedules that include days, evenings, and weekends.
•
Learning Journeys will include eLearning, Simulations, Tips, Guides and Workflow Walkthroughs.
•
Classes will be offered at SCS, NFS and WS, and will range from 4 - 16 hours in length, with material covered over multiple days.
•
CME credits will be available for those eligible. 8

Operation Monarch Pulse Survey

The Pulse survey will run until February 16, 2024.
It will take approximately 3-5 minutes to complete. Participation is important in helping us have a successful roll-out of our new hospital information system (HIS).

Huddle Visits Representation from Change Management, Training Specialists, and other members of the Monarch team have been busy visiting units across the organization and Hotel Dieu Shaver building project awareness, delivering key messages, providing demonstrations of the new system, and promoting the Pulse Survey. • Monarch News is released every Friday in the leadership email and NH News email. • Printable Monarch Monday huddle board posters are sent to site leads on Mondays and posted on SourceNet. 13
