HONOREES Geralyn has volunteered at New Reach for more than 10 years. In her spare time when she is not volunteering or working in the electronics industry, you can find Geralyn hiking, biking, snowshoeing or training for her 15th marathon. Dr. Shirley A. Jackson is the 2015 recipient of the Chris Vogt Outstanding Board Member of the Year Award. Dr. Jackson is a professor of sociology at Southern Connecticut State University. Dr. Jackson first became involved with New Reach by volunteering. Jim Travers is the Vice President of Resource Development for United Way of Greater New Haven. Previously, Jim was the director for the Department of Transportation and has more than 25 years of experience in organizational development with non-profits.
