Inspired by modern farmhouse architecture, the SPARK schools administration and classroom blocks are separated by grass lawns and play areas. Natural light and ventilation are optimised to create comfortable learning spaces and add to the schools energy efficiency.

An old house with a fantastic garden and grounds is to be the new home for a tech consulting and incubation hub. Dark aluminium cladding and a steel structure, set with architectural mesh and raw concrete aim to exude the attitude in line with our clients brand.

With internal space mirrored, the warehouse allows for simultaneously use of the space by 2 occupants. The design provides something that is both contemporary and understated, with geometric lines set in a monotone facade to emphasise simplicity and cleanliness.

This 2400 sqm warehouse was designed to be the new home for a Mozambican owned biscuit factory. The shape of space was elongated to optimise and economise the production flow of the factory as per the manufacturers requirements.

The permabioreactor prototype explores the challenge of impending permafrost thaw as a result of global warming. It proposes sequestering CO2 by cultivating spirulina algae. A nutritionally dense food source which could alleviate insecurity in rural Alaskan regions.

The project aims to respect and celebrate the appreciation the Belarussian people have for nature, heritage and culture.

Set in a projected future 2050, the investigation prompts questions about social cohesion and resilience by merging a food museum and urban farm. It asks whether architecture can serve as a mediator for cultivating societal resilience in the face of climate change?
