a continuation...
Remeber Colin’s amazing story Sunland? Want to keep reading this amazing story? Here is where we last left off:
A strange dream, but tame, and contained within the soles of his mind. Before he knew it, he felt himself waking up, but he was still surrounded by the darkness of night. He was alive, and felt nourished, but how? Mael got up and eyed his surroundings, dazed and confused… before moving onwards towards the east amongst the dotted stars in the midnight sky… Little was he aware... the dark shadow had implanted in him what it needed for its genius plan. He headed eastward for another quarter-day, till it almost was time for the sun to rise. He then stopped before a camp, and decided to hide in the darkness and scout the situation...
About the author: Colin J R Flannagan is a 9th grader at New Mission High School He does not know when he started to find an interest in writing, but he has written for 3 or so years He has written many stories over those years, with the majority of them being short stories He enjoys adding his love and interest of ancient weapons like spears into his stories to make it more diverse and intriguing. He says that one of the most defining traits of his writing is utter violence. He doesn’t really know how action became an important part of his writing, but he still really enjoys adding it, creating massive displays of horror. He says his favorite author is H.P. Lovecraft due to the amazing descriptions provided and the enamours horror that dwells beneath the pages. He doesn’t really know what his favorite genre is though despite his enjoyment of Lovecraft’s works, which fall into the category of horror.
