DRILL BITS MASONRY DRILL BITS These are for drilling into the hard stuff. As the name suggests, these drill bits are designed to drill into brick, stone and concrete. The chisel-shaped cutting tip is made from tungsten carbide bonded to the spiral shaft. Masonry bits are used in a drill set on hammer action because the cheaper bits can shatter when subjected to the pounding. When drilling hard materials, drill at a slow speed to avoid overheating the tip. It is also recommended that you frequently withdraw the bit to remove the dust.
// WHEN DRILLING HARD MATERIALS, DRILL AT A SLOW SPEED TO AVOID OVERHEATING THE TIP. IT IS ALSO RECOMMENDED THAT YOU FREQUENTLY WITHDRAW THE BIT TO REMOVE THE DUST //
