As we pass the halfway point of this year, New Era has continued to grow and develop our teams to deliver managed technology solutions globally. Cross-selling opportunities have been bountiful as many projects come to fruition due to working together across the divisions. This is an area we will continue to grow and expand.

New Era Technology’s global presence continues to develop with two additional acquisitions. These acquisitions will help strengthen and grow our solution offerings, furthering the capabilities we can offer our customers. Recent acquisitions include: • Comm-Works – Minneapolis, Minnesota • RMM Solutions – Wausau, Wisconsin As we enter the third quarter, I want to acknowledge what makes New Era Technology the company we are today. The combination of our people, the team’s ability to provide the best service and support to our customers, and our employees’ ability to adapt to an ever-evolving workforce and technology landscape. I applaud every employee for your exemplary service.

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund (WVHDF) aims to increase the residential housing supply for low-income

families to provide financing to public and private sponsors of such housing.

COVID-19 affected both renters and landlords across West Virginia. As a result, Governor Jim Justice announced the Mountaineer Rental Assistance Program (MRAP), administered by the WVHDF. This program offers direct financial assistance to renters who experienced financial hardship because of the pandemic. As a result, WVHDF had to quickly put together a new Contact Center that could act as a central point for MRAP questions and quickly get funds to those in need.

WVHDF needed a flexible solution that adapted to uncertainties of their employee’s work locations due to the evolving pandemic. New Era Technology recommended the deployment of Cisco Webex Contact Center, coupled with Cisco Webex Calling. This cloud-based solution was the perfect fit to cut the deployment time and provide the services needed.

Coupled with New Era Technology’s Service Provider partnership with leading ISPs, New Era offered a fully public cloudbased solution for unmatched scalability

and speed to market. Challenges included a tight timeline, daily changes and restraints on equipment, and

pandemic lockdown restrictions.

Moving to a cloud solution offered WVHDF flexibility and would limit the need for infrastructure. Additionally, utilizing Cisco, New Era conducted daily calls sharing content, configurations, and training plans remotely.

New Era built out a Calling Solution via Webex Calling Service, providing dial tone in hours. This solution offered quick access to test and route calls to any endpoint needed. For Contact Center Logic, New Era’s Webex Contact Center Flow Scripting got the right calls to the right team. New Era used Cisco Webex for the MRAP team and set up training and testing sessions with the customer. Recordings will be utilized to train new staff as the program expands.

SUCCESS STORIES Upgraded Collaboration Technology for Bupa Client: Bupa

Deal Size: 3-Year Contract

Region: Global Video Collaboration Bupa is an international health insurance and healthcare group with over 31 million customers worldwide. Serving as a

leading healthcare specialist in the UK, Bupa is a long-standing New Era Technology

customer. This deal was for an upgrade to

replace all skype rooms with Microsoft Team Rooms. New Era’s UK team upgraded and

replaced all UK collaboration rooms to Poly/

native Microsoft Teams Technology, including management and 24/7, 365 remote/on-site support for a 3-year contract.

This project was a key win for New Era

Technology given the highly competitive

Microsoft Teams room’s space and resulted in extending an existing contract.

Service Win for Global Financial Company Client: Global Financial Company Deal Size: $2.79M

Deal Drivers: Chris Turner, Paul Schneider, and James Olley Region: Global Video Collaboration (US) A large Global Financial Company has been New Era’s client for 10+ years for service and maintenance support in locations across the globe. This win consists of an agreement that expands last year’s initial purchase of Vyopta licenses to include 1,000 endpoints for monitoring.

This renewal makes it the first year to truly offer a New Era global service through utilizing offices in New Zealand and the UK for the customer’s locations overseas. This win is a team effort from all locations globally to help ensure the customer is receiving seamless service across their enterprise.

AV Solutions for MOE Wellington – Matauranga House

Client: MoE (Ministry of Education) Wellington – Matauranga House

Deal Drivers: Stuart Fraser

Region: Global Video Collaboration Mātauranga Māori translated means ‘Māori knowledge’. It’s a modern term that broadly includes traditions, values, concepts, philosophies, world views, and understandings derived from uniquely Māori cultural points of view. MoE has been a great and loyal customer of Asnet Technologies and New Era Technology.

In 2016, the Ministry moved into Matauranga House, downsizing the building floor area, relying on us to provide technology for phone calls, video calls, and large meeting/ entertainment spaces for multi-use.

Our systems have been part of the fabric of the Ministry, and with the changes to Teams-based meeting rooms and personal technologies, the Ministry engaged us to move them to the best UC solutions. New Era’s solutions include equipment from multiple tier-1 vendors to provide high-quality video optics, microphone audio, and DSP while keeping the ubiquitous/ easy to use interface.

System Support for The City of Toledo Client: City of Toledo Deal Size: $1.2M

Deal Drivers: Tim Nyitray, Sue Trares, and Casey Timiney Region: Midwest The City of Toledo has been a New Era customer for over 20 years and includes a support contract lasting for over fifteen years. The City of Toledo posted a request-for-bid for network and system support of their environment. The bid request was for a three-year contract to support over 300 network devices, 125 servers, and the Cisco phone system across 15 locations.

Through competitive pricing, outstanding customer service, and serving as a consistent force, New Era Technology won the bid to serve as the City of Toledo’s trusted advisor for this project.

PNC Bank, the 7th largest bank in the U.S., issued an RFP to move the bank to Microsoft Office 365, including Exchange, Skype, SharePoint, InTune, and One Drive for Business for all users. New Era will utilize DCS to perform scheduling and communication for all workstreams. New Era will also be technically migrating all users and workstreams to Office 365.

At the completion of this, migration to O365 will have been completed for six significant banks including, PNC Bank, CIBC, Popular Community Bank, TD Bank, Scotia Bank, and State Street Bank. This project has already led to additional opportunities with PNC.

Return to Work Solution for Rotary International Client: Rotary International Deal Size: $500K

Deal Drivers: Kris Gronert, Eric Bixler, Susan Lucci, and Nick Bookbinder Region: CX Rotary International issued an RFP to upgrade their 31 conference rooms globally to a Teams meeting experience. Additional focus was placed on the importance of a consistent and straightforward user experience in all rooms. The project started with a condensed AV design team engagement to solidify the design and provide infrastructure requirements for the Rotary Facilities Team.

In addition to traditional AV components, each room will be outfitted with room scheduling panels and occupancy sensors to provide helpful room use analytics to help future planning and support. The project has led to numerous other discussions and opportunities, including Microsoft Direct Dialing and integration with the existing Cisco Call Manager.
