Ringing Out the Old & Bringing in the New

I believe we can all agree that the past year, 2020, was a challenging year filled with unprecedented experiences. I also agree. I look forward to seeing 2020 in my rearview mirror. We certainly gained a lot of experience and wisdom through the life lessons we lived through in 2020. Do you remember near the end of 2019, we were excited about the New Year and the new decade?
Che-we-Kwe-Ben. She “Walked On” November 30. Her Earth Journey ending was a challenge, although her final hours were peaceful. She taught me about living and dying.
As we begin the transition from 2020 into 2021, I have to say that as I turn my thoughts and attention to the coming New Year I am more reflective, grateful, and tentative.
Now, Paul and I are beginning that Earth Journey ending with his Mom, Renate. Our mothers gave us two weeks between their end journeys. We support and love Renate in her last experiences. On December 19, Renate “Walked On”. I wonder how I am to look forward to the New Year when the ending energy is so profound.
