IT Summer Internship
During the summer of 2023, the NCSS Technology Services Department collaborated with Work-Based Learning Coordinators, Debra Lary (Newton College & Career Academy) & Alisa Echols (Eastside High School), to facilitate real-world work experiences for students in Newton County. These amazing students completed an application and interview process to become technology interns for the Technology Services Department. Students were able to get on-the-job training, as they assisted NCSS technicians with a myriad of tasks; including device repair, refurbishment, and various day-to-day efficiency tasks.
The NCSS Technology Services team is excited to continue this partnership that will ultimately continue to prepare our students for the future!
