The architectural project is articulated through a contemporary spatial strategy that emphasizes clarity, material coherence, and spatial functionality The design prioritizes clean lines, durable finishes, and spatial continuity between interior and exterior environments

The interior spaces are organized through a neutral chromatic palette composed of whites, grays, and beiges, complemented by natural wood elements that provide material contrast The lighting scheme incorporates indirect sources and technical fixtures to define spatial hierarchies and support visual comfort Furniture selection responds to functional criteria and volumetric integration, avoiding visual saturation and preserving circulation efficiency

Social areas are configured as open-plan environments that promote fluid transitions and optimize the relationship between uses The arrangement of furniture and the articulation of lighting contribute to the clarity of the layout and to the sequencing of spaces

Metal profiles, exposed concrete, and industrial luminaires suggest a controlled reference to industrial language, while the overall composition aligns with principles of Scandinavian influence in the use of textures and color modulation

The overall approach seeks an equilibrium between technical resolution and spatial perception Each element is integrated into a coherent system that responds to criteria of use, maintenance, and adaptability, avoiding superfluous gestures The result is a built environment designed to support both practical needs and spatial experience in a consistent and measurable way

Aspaen School

The project is conceived as a comprehensive interior design intervention aimed at creating functional spaces with a strong identity and an emotional connection to their users It is a multidisciplinary proposal that spans from corporate and administrative areas to children's zones, commercial spaces, and waiting areas, reflecting a holistic approach that values both aesthetics and functionality Each environment has been developed with its own design language, carefully adapted to its context and target audience Reception and customer service areas, for instance, feature a sober and contemporary aesthetic, with a neutral color palette, noble materials, and clean lines that convey order, professionalism, and warmth Strategic use of lighting and finishes creates an atmosphere that balances institutional character with a welcoming feel, enhancing brand identity and the reception experience

Navios, Palmares and Almeria

In contrast, spaces intended for children reflect a shift in scale, color, and visual language Here, the design becomes more playful, dynamic, and sensory, with organic shapes, graphic illustrations, and child-friendly furniture These areas encourage interaction and visual stimulation, fostering a friendly environment for play, learning, or shopping, while also meeting safety and ergonomic standards

The project also integrates transitional and waiting areas with a sensitivity to nature and relaxation The use of warm textures, greenery, and comfortable furniture helps create spaces that invite rest or informal socialization These proposals go beyond fulfilling an operational function; they promote user wellbeing and encourage people to stay

AMERICAN GARDEN

Kindergarten

The renovation of the kindergarten was undertaken with the objective of updating and enhancing the facilities to improve both functionality and the overall environment for children Recognizing the role of physical spaces in child development, the project focused on creating themed environments on each floor, establishing distinct areas with specific identities to provide character and clear differentiation These thematic zones were designed to address the needs and interests of children, offering varied spaces that support different types of interaction and experiences Considerations included scale, color, texture, and functionality to ensure that each area was accessible and suitable for its intended purpose

A key aspect of the renovation was the implementation of a lighting strategy tailored to each environment Different types of lighting warm, cool, and colored were applied with varying intensities and directions to create appropriate atmospheres for each thematic area Lighting was employed not only for its practical function but also as a defining element that reinforced the identity of each floor For instance, one floor featured lighting designed to mimic natural sunlight filtering through foliage, while another utilized LED and dynamic light effects to establish a more technologically oriented environment

DARIO ECHANDÍA LIBRARY

Tolima - Ibagué

The Darío Echandía Library in Ibagué is being renewed with the transformation of its exhibition hall This space will be filled with art, culture, and creativity thanks to new design proposals aimed at creating an environment better suited to current and future needs The new proposals have been developed taking into account all relevant variables, from the spatial requirements and circulation flows to universal accessibility and the environmental conditions necessary for the preservation of the artworks

Special emphasis has been placed on spatial flexibility, with solutions that allow the space to be adapted to the varying needs of different exhibitions

Additionally, attention has been given to aesthetics and design, creating an environment that is modern, refined, and consistent with the library’s image and the surrounding urban context

The ultimate goal is to create a space that not only serves as a venue for displaying artworks but also functions as a community gathering point a place where art, culture, and creativity can be enjoyed in a modern, accessible, and welcoming setting

CREARTUM - MEDELLÍN’S CULTURAL LIGHTHOUSE

Comuna El Poblado - Medellín

The intervention in a cultural Equipment for children and youth in Medellín is essential to strengthen the social fabric and provide opportunities for holistic development in a city that has found in culture a driving force for transformation These types of spaces allow children and young people to access educational, artistic, and recreational experiences that promote critical thinking, creativity, and community engagement, steering them away from contexts of violence and vulnerability

Furthermore, it encourages the appropriation of public space and a sense of belonging, enhancing their role as agents of change in building a more inclusive, equitable, and culturally rich Medellín

Placing the Equipment in a central and equidistant location in Medellín is essential to ensure its accessibility and maximize its impact on the community A strategic location that connects with the mountain and residential areas allows the city to integrate with its natural surroundings, offering users a space that combines culture, recreation, and interaction with the environment A central point facilitates access from different neighborhoods, promoting inclusion and the meeting of diverse social realities

An integrated Equipment that combines the culture of the arts and the culture of virtuality is key to attracting and connecting the youth and children of Medellín with the tools of the future, while strengthening their cultural roots This type of space would allow the coexistence of music, dance, theater, and visual arts workshops alongside advanced technology areas such as virtual reality labs, digital editing, and programming, creating a creative ecosystem where traditional and digital expressions complement each other In an era dominated by technology, it is vital for young people to find in these spaces a bridge between their interest in the digital world and the development of artistic and social skills, fostering collaborative learning, innovation, and the discovery of new forms of expression

PILGRIMS HEAVEN

MUNTÚ

Refugee Center Project

"Muntú" is an African philosophy that we associate with the preexistence of the workplace, which boasts natural wealth, an unfinished construction, and a community on the verge of rising within the site Moreover, "Muntú" explains the importance of community and how each person is a vital element, and their union forms even stronger energies This Refugee Center, which hosts people from different cultures hailing from distant places, proposes courtyards with different vocations, respecting the existing trees that articulate the entire program One vital force expresses the area of greater privacy: the bedrooms The central vital force is an outdoor presentation And the last vital force is embraced by classrooms that open up to it

In terms of materiality, we propose easily replicable modules with sustainable construction methods through straightforward development techniques that incorporate bioclimatic and atmospheric protection These systems, such as elevated flooring, high ceilings, sunshades for light and rain protection, louvers that facilitate cross-ventilation, and bamboo mats on the roof to capture hot air, are designed to enhance environmental performance

LIVING RIBBON

Student Housing and Heritage Project

What features and spaces should the campus of the future offer ? How should the campus relate to a valuable and unique context and landscape? All off this while keeping bioclmiatic confort and reducing carbon footprint in all stages

Considering the qualities of the natural landscape and the existing architecture, the answer proposes an integrative project that accompanies all the inhabitants and users who enjoy and live on the campus Therefore, based on areas related to the landscape and existing landmarks, a ribbon is wrapped around, this ties and proposes a fluid route throughout the entire campus This ribbon develops in the public space and as new residential building With this, we aim to design a comprehensive and complete development for the university, which can be executed progressively and serve as a reference for how a university projects itself into the future

In conclusion, we propose a project that brings together the different variables and spaces, comprehensively conveying the university's future vision and the possibility of living in it, generating fluid and continuous spaces that foster collaboration, inclusion, and freedom

SPIRITUAL PATH

Saint Peter spiritual complex

The celebration of the Jubilee has been, throughout history, a unique and highly significant event for each generation The opportunity to live and participate during this special period where the Divine and the Human meet brings hope and joy to humanity The Pilgrims Heaven Competition invites us to understand the importance and transcendence of this event, and through architecture give shape to its meaning and magnitude

To achieve this goal, we turn to the concept of “Sacred Oneness” This concept refers to a connection or articulation that unites the different relationships that Catholics experience in thier lives What are the relationships articulated by the Sacred Oneness? First, we find the relationship between God and the individual; second, the relationship between God and the Catholic community/church; and third, the relationship between God and all of creation These three relationships, which each pilgrim experiences daily, are intertwined through the Spiritual Bond

Considering that pilgrimage is a journey where all these relationships are experienced and strengthened, we propose the “Sacred Oneness”, represented as a three-dimensional experiential ribbon “Spiritual Ribbon”, to be our project This three-dimensional ribbon, which embraces and traverses the spaces of the Saint Peter complex in Tuscania, organizes the various program spaces, creating a continuous and shared experience for all pilgrims
