Naval base san diego visit

Good morning,

It was a pleasure meeting all of you on Wed., Feb. 24, during your tour of Naval Base San Diego. I want to personally thank you for taking time out of your busy day to visit our base and discuss mutual community partnership opportunities with Commanding Officer Capt. Kurt Jones' Executive Officer, our second in command, Cmdr. Kevin Boykin. Our goal is to continue developing and strengthening our relationship with you, our neighbors, so that we all live and work in a community that thrives and grows. We are committed in our engagement with our local partners and will continue working closely with city leaders, in both National City and San Diego's Barrio Logan community, to ensure the concerns of the community are heard and respected. While providing outstanding support to the Fleet, Fighter and Family at Naval Base San Diego, National City's steadfast support to us and the national defense establishment is one of the main reasons we are successful in accomplishing our mission.

I want to sincerely thank you for your continuing support. I can speak for our leadership here at Naval Base San Diego when I say we look forward to future opportunities to work with you all.
