EVENT MAGAZINE sydney 2025

As the recognised national peak body for Australia’s exercise and active health sector, AUSactive is excited to join the industry in celebrating innovation, connection and growth at AusFitness Industry 2025.
This year marks a turning point for our sector, with the launch of AUSactive’s bold 2025–27 Strategic Plan - a roadmap that positions physical activity as an essential pillar of Australia’s preventative health system.
Our strategy is built around three core pillars: effective advocacy, to elevate our industry’s voice at every level of government; professional credibility, to raise standards and strengthen trust; and valued member support, ensuring professionals are equipped, recognised, and empowered.
We’ve also introduced a new two-tiered membership model - Registered and Accredited -designed to better reflect the diversity, flexibility, and career progression opportunities within our evolving industry. This structure supports greater accessibility and paves the way for exercise professionals to be integrated more deeply into the national health system.
As we look to the future, AUSactive remains committed to championing our sector’s value, building pathways for growth, and supporting every professional who helps Australians lead healthier, more active lives.
Enjoy the event and thank you for being part of our shared mission.
