Porosity
Pore (Greek:πόρος) “aminuteopening”.
The overall form of the design is created based on the porosity morphology by Simmons Hall Porosity or the state of being porous indicated the existence of small openings as the attribute to allow matters to pass through. In the design context, the concept of porosity was transposed in the form of schematic variation of porosity exploration to create spatial affordability. It is also characterized by various types and degrees of permeability of its element. Their functionality is associated with the affordance of plane composition to examine the lighting surpass, the sight of lines, boundary, depth, and level of intimacy of thespace.Theoutcomeoftheexplorationisturnedintothemechanismofbasic line&shapecomposition, organicusermovement, andmaterialtranslucency.
From the initial exploration, subtraction become the main mechanism of the overall design principle to created assorted openings.Itcanbereachedinthe followingways: displacement, nesting, and bending.

It shows the idea on how people interact to the space from the implication of the spatial mechanism to the context

Spatial Abstraction on how people inhabit in space.

Programming Diagram Ideas

The design intervention occurs in the three levels of the parking basement area. Side by side with their everyday practices to promote familiarity, as if it takeslesstimetocompletebytheuser. The idea came in the form of food-producing space programming, as a transit zone that accommodates users to experience the whole food processing journey. The process is dividedintofourmajorareas: Cultivating, harvesting, processing, and consuming area. A green wall system technology is used in the area to support the program and as a response to overcome the dirty air supply that come into the basement area.

The heat exploration is derived from the concept of heat transfer (conduction, natural convection, and radiation) that involved the motion of liquid body temperature, from higher to lower, or vice versa. The idea of that temperature different of each alteration process is implied to the exploration to observe the possibility of spatial form through the merging mechanism.
