Overview

The Nampa Festival of the Arts features only original hand crafted items sold by the artisan, and includes works of ceramics, photography, oil, watercolor, mixed media, jewelry, metal works, wood, and a myriad of country crafts. In addition to the artisan booths the juried fine art show is a crowd pleaser and an ideal way to highlight the talent of the participating artists. Displayed in the rose garden in the center of the park, the juried fine art show draws many fine art pieces, and includes cash awards for grand prize, gold, silver, bronze and honorable mentions, as well as an interactive people’s choice award.

The Nampa Festival of the Arts continues to grow, embracing creative new ideas that support its essence: A celebration of the creative spirit of our diverse community, expressing unique light, life and cultural heritage through art, music and dance.

The festival began 31 years ago and has grown to the signature event it is today. The festival features many local artisans, several of whom have been with the show since its inception. Over the years, the festival has spread its impact to draw artisans from the Pacific Northwest and Southwestern United States. In addition to a committed group of local artisans, the festival also has a dedicated following, people from Nampa and the greater Treasure Valley who look forward to the event every summer. The solid support, resources and dedicated staff of the City of Nampa and the Nampa Parks and Recreation Department come together to present a professional, well run event for the artisans, vendors and thousands of people who visit every year.

This premier event is iconic in Nampa’s summer line up, drawing over 18,000 people to beautiful Lakeview Park where over 190 colorful booths, food, music and activities await, creating an enticing blend of art, culture, music and dance.
