2nd Skeleton Coast Rally
From 4 May to 6 May, Harley-Davidson owners from Namibia and South Africa will get-together for the 2nd Skeleton Coast Rally in Swakopmund, hosted by the H.O.G. Namibia Chapter and sponsored by Harley-Davidson Windhoek. This event promises to be even bigger than the first rally held in May 2015 with more than 300 HarleyDavidsons expected to thunder through the coastal towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. The weekend will
kick off on Friday at 10am with a Thunder Parade through Swakopmund and on to Walvis Bay where participants will enjoy lunch at The Raft Restaurant. At 16h00 the usual Concours will take place at the Swakop-
mund Football Club where the most beautiful HarleyDavidsons will be on display. The day will be concluded with music by Just Jack and a huge charity auction. On Saturday participants will head out to
Windpomp 14 for breakfast before they return to the SFC for the very entertaining Harley Games. Start is at 12h30 and the public is very welcome to enjoy old but also some brand new games. In the evening the raffle prizes will be drawn at a private function, first prize to be given away is a brand new HarleyDavidson Street 750. Be sure to get your raffle ticket at the Harley Games latest! Before riders and pillions head home on Sunday morning, there will be a first ever Ride-in Biker Church Service by Pastor Piet Fox on the SFC lawn. As previously, monies generated through the auction will be donated, recipients being Huis Palms, Walvis Bay, Welwitschia Old Age Home, Swakopmund and Safe The Rhino Trust Palmwag Concession.
