1. President - Ed Fletcher: 2nd V.P. Committee: As announced in the Executive Council notes, Jimmie Braden was the only individual who applied for the 2nd V.P. Position. Given that, I have appointed him to fill the remainder of the 2nd VicePresident’s term of office, which ends on November 25, 2025. Route Inspections: The branch is continuing to fight management’s unilateral and improper route inspections and adjustments. We have appealed multiple grievances from the Oakland, Livermore, and San Ramon Post Offices. We are currently filing grievances in the Fairfield Office. As of this date, the union has not been informed of any possible joint process for 2026. 2025 Branch # 1111 Election: The total cost to the Branch paid to the “California Election Company” for our 2025-2027 election for one (1) position, was $ 14,959.90 or just under 15K. 2026 Working Budget: First and foremost, I want to thank the Budget Committee for doing an excellent job in preparing and proposing the 2026 Working Budget. In short, we were able to fund all expenses, salaries and stipend increases as well branch events. Given that the contract was delayed for 2 years, the branch did not receive dues increase to offset the rising expenses. Based on our By-Laws, our dues will be going up in 2026 which will offset the new salaries and expenses projected. Branch # 1111 President Elect: I am extremely honored that members of Branch # 1111 have choose me to continue to serve as their President. First and foremost, I would like to thank the membership of Branch # 1111 for their faith in me.
