Taxi Service

The Myrtle Beach area has an incredibly efficient taxi system. While there are multiple companies that each have their own phone number, nearly all of the drivers and companies respond to a common dispatcher ensuring that you get where you need to go, when you need to go. Limousine services are also available.

Public Transportation

The Coast RTA public transportation service, operated by the Waccamaw Regional Transportation Authority, provides reliable and affordable bus transportation along major routes throughout the Grand Strand. Motorcoach transportation also provides route and charter service throughout Myrtle Beach and neighboring areas, including day tours to the nearby cities of Wilmington, NC, and Georgetown and Charleston, SC

Train Service

There is Amtrak service available through an inland station in nearby Florence, SC. Those passengers arriving by train can then either secure a rental car and drive the remainder or the trip or board a bus for the 60-mile ride to the Grand Strand.
