Reflecting onProgress

What has the City of Muskogee accomplished over the past five years?

On May 14, 2019, Muskogee voters approved the 2019 Capital Improvement Projects sales tax. The CIP is a six-year plan designed to enhance the quality of life for Muskogee’s citizens by renewing voter-approved sales tax from previous projects.

The proceeds of a .33% sales tax has funded more than 100 miles of street improvements across Muskogee. An additional .17% sales tax has benefited multiple projects, including the MLK Center, the Muskogee Swim & Fitness Center, and the Roxy Theater.

This report highlights what the funds have paid for, what has yet to be completed, and what the remaining balance is on the accounts supported by Muskogee taxpayers.
