THE bentonite This exceptional clay has been known for thousands of years and used for its purifying and regenerating properties.

Glycerin has many virtues: Hydration: this humectant increases and improves the skin's hydration due to its high water retention capacity.

Glycerin therefore signiďŹ cantly reduces insensitive water loss compared to other moisturizers, especially during repeated applications. This effect has been observed in the management of skin ageing but also under more extreme conditions, such as the treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis. Glycerin is an ingredient that is often better tolerated than most other moisturizers.

Humectant of mucous membranes: glycerin helps to treat the problems of dry and scaly skin. Glycerin is very hygroscopic: it has the ability to absorb the equivalent of its own weight in water. The skin is thus moisturized and hydrated.

1.3 - Propanediol With a name that may seem artiďŹ cial, 1.3-propanediol is a natural, skin-friendly preservative that enhances the action of the humectant (glycerin) by acting in synergy.

For the respect and protection of the skin, it is obviously preferable to use 1.3-propanediol from vegetable sources, rather than propylene glycol made from petroleum!

On the one hand, propanediol does not show any sensitizing or irritating effects on the skin unlike propylene glycol. 1.3propanediol is the alternative to petroleum (glycols).

On the other hand, combined with glycerin, propanediol has a synergistic effect that reduces glycerin's stickiness, while offering the beneďŹ ts of increased hydration.
