Dear Members,

GENERAL MANAGER

SUMMER FUN MIKE GIAMMARESI

We are off to a terrific start this summer season and have been extremely busy in all departments To start, the golf course has sprung to life with warm temperatures and a successful spring transition into summer. We are grown in nicely and starting to see green speeds increasing and smoother putting surfaces. Additionally, closing the tee sheet at 3pm on Monday and Tuesday afternoons is resulting in better course conditions and allowing our turfcare staff to improve our course conditions on a weekly basis.

Over the past few months, we have continued tree clearing on holes #3, #5, #10, and #14 These areas continue to push back tree lines and open up areas for sunlight, airflow, and cart traffic, all of which will improve overall course conditions Additionally, we completed cart path repairs on #1 and #10, and will be looking to repair additional damaged areas on holes #6 and #8 in the coming weeks

A few other course projects on the horizon in the coming weeks will be an irrigation project to get water to the right rough line on hole #1 to improve areas close to the path, as well as a project on #7 to add a new back tee as well as move the fairway bunkers to the right center of the hole to change the sight line off the tee further from homeowners and allow us to open up the left side of the hole to spread out cart traffic which has become problematic in this area

On the Food and Beverage side, we have successfully launched our summer on course comfort station located at the amenity center near the tennis courts, behind #4 tee and between holes #8 and #9. This station, named “The Par Tee Spot” is open on weekdays, when we have play starting off the front nine, and more than 100 golfers on the books. It has been quite successful and Chef Mike’s Smoked Sandwich specials have been well received by both members and guests. In the Grill, our resent kitchen additions of Dwight “Gonzo” Gonzales, Alicia Mora, and Isaiah Higgs have rounded out our culinary team to help us to continue to elevate our offerings to members and guests Be on the lookout for upcoming July 4th specials!

Lastly, on the membership front we have added 35 new members year to date, thanks to a successful spring drive program Furthermore, we just launched our new member benefit offering through our relationship with Distinguish Golf Destinations. This is a travel golf and dining offering only available to recognized facilities. Regatta Bay Golf and Yacht Club is the only club in our market with this designation, therefore, our club members now have the option to take part of this program and gain access to some of the top golf courses and clubs in the country including The Club at Admirals Cove in Jupiter, Medinah Country Club in Illinois, Houston Country Club, Birmingham Country Club, The Mirabel Club in North Scottsdale, Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Orlando, and Trump National in D C and many more! Please contact Courtney Geiger for a complete list and details on this offer to gain access to some of the most private and exclusive clubs across the country.

It is a great time to be a member of Regatta Bay, and I could not be prouder of our wonderful team here to make your experience with us special. I hope to see you at the club soon

Sincerely,

TURF CARE

JASON NARWOLD SUPERINTENDENT

Dear Members,

The golf course is getting better week by week as the heat of the summer sets in and as Mother Nature here in the south does her thing We are continually making adjustments, sometimes on the fly, but for better playability and more enjoyment in the end The Greens are coming into their own and getting closer to performing the way we want them to and the way that they should Weekly sand topdressing has aided us in this process although many would disagree. I will leave you with this to think about: Have you ever played a game of shuffle board without the sand?

As you may have seen recently, various course improvements on certain holes are taking place. Continuous turf repair has been a large focus, not only for playability in some areas, but also aesthetics This project will continue bit by bit as we progress through the growing months Tree and palmetto removal is a tall task, but a necessary evil to help with air movement and shade reduction for better turf and in some case improve pace of play Most recently this is being performed on holes 5 and 14 with plans to sod and/or install native beds afterwards for continued beautification of the property

Member Spotlight: Guy Bourn

The entire Regatta Bay Staff and Advisory Board of Governors would like to acknowledge and express its gratitude towards General Guy Bourn for his outstanding service and unwavering dedication to our organization and the broader community.

General Bourn supports our turf crew each week both on and off the course, dedicating several days a week to assist them in learning English, understanding the Bill of Rights, and becoming familiar with the US Constitution as part of their journey towards US citizenship. Beyond his distinguished military service and leadership, Major General Bourn exemplifies a profound commitment to our country and community through his ongoing support and mentorship. His dedication to helping others and his invaluable contributions are truly commendable.

Thank you from our entire Regatta Bay Family!
