Music Network 2024 Autumn Touring Season
Find us at a venue near you
As we savour the long days of summer, there’s lots to look forward to this Autumn and the whole new season of musical possibilities it brings with it.
So far this year we’ve worked with 24 partners and venues to present 45 live music performances in 22 towns and cities through our National Touring Programme. We’ve commissioned 6 new works by Irish composers, 3 of which will receive their world premiere this Autumn, and created our first ever residency for a professional musician who is autistic/a person with autism in partnership with St. John’s Theatre and Arts Centre in Listowel.
We’re planning to continue the year as strongly as we started, with an incredible lineup of musicians for you to enjoy this season. So whether you are drawn to the lilting melodies of traditional and folk music, the sublime sounds of transcendent jazz or the timeless appeal of classical music, I hope you’ll find a concert you love at a venue near you.
We would like to express our gratitude to our principal funder The Arts Council, to our Friends and supporters, our network of partners and everyone who has attended or participated in a Music Network concert or programme this year. Your support helps us continue to bring affordable, exceptional quality live music to audiences, enables our musicians to develop sustainable and fulfilling careers, and provides opportunities for performance and participation in communities across the country.
I hope you enjoy delving into this fresh new season of music, and to see you at a Music Network event very soon.
