2022 National Irish Close Young Seniors, Seniors & Super Seniors Championships Rushbrooke Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club Seniors & Super Seniors 19th - 21st August Young Seniors 26th - 28th August Championships organised & managed on behalf of Tennis Ireland by Munster Tennis with the generous support of Rushbrooke Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club as proud hosts.

Rushbrooke Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club and the beautiful harbour town of Cobh in County Cork are the proud hosts of the 2022 National Irish Close Young Seniors, Seniors & Super Seniors Interprovinical Championships.

Managed and promoted on behalf of Tennis Ireland by the dedicated committee of staff and volunteers of Munster Tennis, this brief brochure highlights some of the aspects of two fantastic weekends that will see the finest tennis seniors players from across Ireland showcase their talents.

As one of the Gold Standard clubs in Ireland, Munster Tennis are delighted that Rushbrooke Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club have kindly offered to host the 2022 Irish National Young Seniors, Seniors & Super Seniors Championships over two weekends in August.

With a passionate team of staff and volunteers on hand throughout the weekend, you are assured of a top quality tournament that will offer competitive tennis in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere across their nine all weather courts and associated facilities.

Full bar and catering services will be on offer for players and spectators throughout the weekend, with courts available for practice prior to matches commencing for each weekend.

Train Cobh railway station, the terminus of Cork-Cobh suburban commuter line, serves the town of Cobh, whilst the smaller Rushbrooke station is also close by. The line has frequent services to Cork’s Kent Station with connections serving Dublin and Limerick Junction. www.IrishRail.ie Bus A popular service to Cobh is the Cobh Connect, offering a regular connection to Cork city for reasonable fairs. www.CobhConnect.ie Taxi Several private cab and many private hire drivers operate in Cobh, with a popular taxi rank located in middle of town.
