CANCELLATIONS

MundoHispánico is published weekly and distributed throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area. We reserve the right to edit or reject any material which may be deemed unsuitable for our publication.

Advertiser and/or agency assumes liability for all content of advertisements printed, and also assumes responsibility for any claims arising there from made against the publisher, and agrees to indemnify the publisher against any expense or loss suffered by reason of such claims. MundoHispánico reserves the right to print previous issue copy when new copy is not received by the deadline.

Ad cancellations must be submitted in writing 7 days prior to current issues’s print date. No cancellations accepted after ad deadline.

Cancellations must be in writing. Contracts cancelled before completion will be short rated to the rate earned.

Legal Obligations of Advertiser

In order to induce the publisher to publish such advertising, and in consideration thereof, advertisers represent and warrant by submitting advertising to the publisher, that all facts stated in such advertising will be true and correct, and that therein there will be no libel and no invasion of privacy with respect to any person, partnership, corporation or other entity, and no infringement of any trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property right with respect to any person, partnership corporation or other entity. The advertiser will indemnify, defend and hold Cox Enterprises Inc., its affiliates and the officers, directors, employees and representatives of each of these harmless against any and all expensed, losses and costs of any kind arising out of any of the advertiser’s advertising.

Payment

First-time advertisers will be asked to include payment when the ad is placed. Regular accounts will be billed, with payment due upon receipt of invoice. All prices are net. 1.5% late charge per month (18% annually) will be added 5 days after due date to past due balances.

Placement

GRAPHIC SPECIFICATIONS Ad Design

MundoHispánico is happy to provide design services for our customers. We offer typesetting, design/layout, stock photos and illustration/clip art if needed. Client must provide logos and/or photos to be used in ad. Client will receive 2 proofs; the second proof restricted to typographical changes only. Multiple proofs will be issued at discretion of manager. Camera ready ads submitted at the wrong size may be rebordered or resized at the discretion of MundoHispánico. Ads designed by MundoHispánico may only run in MundoHispánico.

Graphics

Save all files in PDF format. Save all halftones at 300dpi, 100line screen. (Note: higher resolution does not enhance quality for newspaper reproduction, it only makes files larger. If you are placing your ad online, it can slow down the transmission process.) Scan images and crop them to actual size. All images should be scanned as close to their final reproduction size as possible to avoid scaling problems that can compromise quality. Limit scaling to 25 percent or less.

Color

Use CMYK for all color. Never use RGB or Pantone color unless converted to CMYK. (These formats will not separate and will not print.) Select bleeds, knockouts and overprints for color ads (if applicable). Maximum density: 240 percent. If ad is to run in blackand-white but original is in color, convert it to black-and-white.

Position requests are given full consideration, but the publisher cannot be held liable for failure to accommodate said requests.
