Il a supervisé l’ensemble du département immobilier aussi bien au niveau financier, juridique, stratégique, marketing que ressources humaines, de même que le développement de la franchise HRHC. Selon Dan Conn, "les biens immobiliers de prestige restent un actif prisé des riches personnalités de ce monde. Les investisseurs sont de plus en plus attirés par l’immobilier résidentiel comme catégorie d’actifs. Il offre la diversité d’un portefeuille d’actifs individuels, la sécurité du capital et un potentiel de retour sur investissement plus favorable que les autres catégories d’actifs, ce qui lui permet de dynamiser toujours plus la tendance d’investissement. Si la demande reste globalement forte, certains marchés ont constaté une augmentation de l’offre due aux nouvelles constructions, et les prix du très haut de gamme ont quelque peu diminué en conséquence. Cependant, cet ajustement des prix n’est pas simplement le résultat de l’offre. Plusieurs prix records ont conduit certaines attentes de vendeurs à ne plus être en phase avec les valeurs du marché actuel, et les prix devaient baisser pour que certaines habitations haut de gamme puissent quitter le marché. Comme l’un de nos affiliés aime à

Les constructeurs ne cessent d’innover dans les aménagements et parviennent à créer des habitations à l’atmosphère de type spa. Nombre de ces aménagements seront abordés en détail

As a seasoned, devoted, and experienced real estate professionals, Dan Conn, CEO, joined Christie’s International Real Estate from Brookfield Asset Management, where he managed the company’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Investment. In this role, Dan was responsible for developing the HRHC franchise business as well as overseeing all property level departments; including finance, strategy, legal, marketing and human resources. Prior to joining Brookfield, Dan was a Director in the Restructuring & Refinancing Group at Peter J. Solomon Company; a Vice President at D.E. Shaw where he was a portfolio manager; an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in investment banking and real estate funds; and a lawyer in Canada. However, this price adjustment is not just a result of supply. Recent record prices led some seller expectations to get
out of sync with actual market values, and prices needed to come down in order for some high-end homes to clear the market. As one of our affiliates likes to note, there is no market for over-priced homes. Finally, governments have noticed that values were increasing, and in an effort to cool markets and/or raise revenues, some jurisdictions have increased taxes and stamp duties on luxury homes. In terms of buyer interest, we have observed a few interesting themes. Environmental stewardship has become an objective of the world’s ultra-high net worth buyers. Privacy and security also continue to be key features in the luxury market. The marriage of art and architecture has also taken on great importance, with buyers seeking spaces that are capable of housing important collections of art and antiquities. Home builders also continue to find innovations in amenities that create a spa-like home atmosphere. Many of these amenities will be discussed in detail in our upcoming white paper, which will be released this spring. As an expert in luxury real estate Christie’s International Real Estate has a number of important marketing initiatives under way.
From a marketing perspective, we are excited about the coming launch of our second Christie’s International Real Estate marketing campaign of 2015/2016, which will be aimed at illustrating both the breadth and strength of the Christie’s International Real Estate independent affiliate network. This campaign has been illustrated beautifully by a group of artists engaged by Christie’s International Real Estate. We are also about to release a new website and magazine format which will provide readers and viewers with even greater awareness of the overlap between the worlds of art and home. Another successful recent initiative has been in the area of events, and this continues to be an important priority. Last year, Christie’s hosted 87 events as opposed to only 19 in 2014. Those events included art exhibitions in private estates, wine tastings, and events in affiliate offices which created an opportunity for affiliate clients to speak privately with Christie’s specialists about their jewellery and watches. some notable christie’s affiliate collaborations:

J’avais 10 ans, nous étions partis en vacances dans le Var avec mes parents et mon frère Alain. C’était la toute première fois que je venais dans le Sud de la France. Cela reste un merveilleux souvenir pour moi.

cette région a aussi été l’objet de nombreux tournages pour vous...
Oh oui... Avec mon ami Georges Lautner on a tourné Flic ou voyou et Joyeuses Pâques, où l’on avait l’autorisation de mettre la ville de Nice sens dessus dessous (rires). Sinon j’ai aussi tourné Itinéraire d’un enfant gâté à Monaco, le film de François Truffaut La sirène du Mississippi à Antibes, et Mademoiselle Ange avec Romy Schneider et Michèle Mercier.
vous possédez depuis des années un hôtel particulier à paris, une maison à deauville ainsi qu’une immense propriété à antigua dans les caraïbes. cependant vous n’avez jamais acheté sur la côte d’azur, est-ce un regret pour vous
?
Oui... Durant des années j’ai toujours loué de nombreuses propriétés sur la Côte d’Azur sans jamais acheter. J’en ai eu plusieurs fois l’opportunité mais les aléas de la vie font que je ne l’ai jamais fait. C’est un regret en effet.
on ne peut évoquer cannes sans parler du festival international du film, où par le passé vos films n’ont pas toujours été très bien reçus…
En effet... En 1974, j’étais venu présenter Stavisky d’Alain Resnais et l’accueil du film fut catastrophique. Une certaine presse n’a pas accepté qu’un auteur comme Resnais tourne avec un acteur populaire comme moi. Les médias n’ont laissé aucune chance au film. Dès le générique du début, à l’apparition de mon nom et de celui de Resnais, les sifflets se sont fait entendre. Le film a été massacré. En 1960, j’étais aussi venu présenter Moderato cantabile qui a valu à Jeanne Moreau un prix d’interprétation, puis La Ciocciara de Vittorio De Sica avec Sophia Loren.
Oui j’ai souvent passé mes vacances sur la Côte d’Azur avec mes enfants. Durant de nombreuses années j’ai loué des villas à Saint-Tropez, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, au Cap d’Antibes, à Saint-Paul de Vence, ou à SaintJean Cap Ferrat. Mais depuis quelques années, je passe mes vacances sur les hauteurs de Cannes.

Arrivé sur le tapis rouge, tous les photographes ont baissé leur appareil photo pour m’applaudir et cela m’a profondément touché. Cette Palme d’Or m’est allée droit au cœur. Je remercie encore mon ami Thierry Frémaux (Président délégué du Festival de Cannes), pour son accueil et cette soirée inoubliable.

?
J’aime beaucoup Le Grand Hôtel à Cannes où l’accueil du personnel et de la direction est toujours exceptionnel. Puis, ce grand carré de verdure en pleine Croisette c’est vraiment très agréable. A Monaco je descends souvent au Méridien ou à l’Hôtel Hermitage. Pour ce qui est des restaurants, mes deux cantines restent Le Michelangelo à Antibes chez mon ami Mamo, ainsi que le Sass' Café à Mona-
co chez mon « pote » Sassa. Sur Cannes, j’apprécie déjeuner à la plage du Martinez ou au C Beach. Sans oublier évidement La Colombe d’Or à Saint-Paul de Vence. vous êtes une star mondiale, et malgré ce statut vous restez toujours disponible pour le public qui vient vous aborder. estce une chose qui vous tient à cœur

Vous savez un acteur se doit d’être disponible pour son public, je pense que c’est la moindre des choses. Prendre quelques instants pour faire une photo ou un autographe ne m’a jamais dérangé. C’est quand même le public qui achète les places de cinéma, les DVD ou qui regarde vos films à la télévision. On leur doit bien ça ! sur la côte d’azur, la clientèle russe ou celle des émirats vient souvent vous solliciter pour une photo ou un autographe cela vous surprend-t-il
?
Oui toujours... C’est la magie du cinéma et des films qui voyagent à travers le monde. L’autre jour une personne d’Équateur est même venue me demander un autographe. Mais il est vrai que le public russe a toujours été présent pour moi. on vous a souvent vu dans les tribunes du stade louis ii à monaco ou à l’allianz arena de nice, êtes-vous toujours aussi fan de foot
?
Plus que jamais ! Ma passion première reste la boxe, mais j’aime toujours autant le foot. Je suis venu plusieurs fois dans le nouveau stade de Nice, à l’invitation de mon ami, le Président Jean-Pierre Rivère.

Je suis venu pour la première fois à Saint-Tropez en 1957 en vacances en famille. A l’époque, Saint-Tropez était un petit port de pêche des plus tranquilles. La présence de Brigitte Bardot a attiré les médias et a commencé en faire un lieu de renommée mondiale. I was 10 years old, we set off to Le Var on holiday with my parents and my brother, Alain. It was the first time I had been to the South of France. It’s still a wonderful memory for me. the region also provided the backcloth for many of your film shoots...

Yes, I have often spent my holidays on the French Riviera with my children. For many years, I rented villas in Saint-Tropez, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, on Cap d’Antibes, in Saint-Paul de Vence or Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat. Though over the past few years, I have spent my holidays in the hills behind Cannes.

Yes, always... It’s the magic of the cinema and films that travel worldwide. The other day, someone from Ecuador even came up to me to ask for an autograph. It’s true, however, that the Russian public has always been there for me. we have often seen you in the stands of the louis ii stadium in monaco or the allianz arena in nice. are you still as much a fan of football as ever?
for many years, you have owned a private mansion in paris, a house in deauville, and a vast properrty in antigua in the caribbean. but you never bought a house on the french riviera. do you regret that now?
Yes, I do... For years, I rented various properties on the French Riviera without ever buying one. I have had the opportunity to do so on several occasions, but with life’s ups and downs, I never got around to it. I do indeed regret it.
Hôtel Hermitage. As for restaurants, my two favourite "canteens" are still Le Michelangelo in Antibes run by my friend Mamo, and the Sass' Café in Monaco run by my "mate", Sassa. In Cannes, I like to go for lunch at the beach of the Martinez or C beach. Le Palais Bulles est une surprenante maison, unique et magique « aux mille hublots », qui épouse les courbes du corps humain et qui ne présente aucune ligne droite. Cette folie architecturale construite entre ciel et mer n’évoque rien de commun. Cette villa de rêve se situe sur la commune de Théoule-sur-Mer au milieu d’un écrin de roches rouges découpées : le massif de l’Estérel. D’une superficie de plus de 1 200 m2 de surface habitable, la propriété reposant sur un jardin d’environ 8 000 m2 évoque une grappe de bulles proliférant accrochées les unes aux autres, et qui se rassemblent autour de trois piscines.
Depuis 2000, Pierre Cardin a voulu faire de cette villa un carrefour des arts et un lieu de rencontres ouvert à la location. Le Palais a reçu la visite de nombreuses stars du cinéma et du théâtre. Depuis quinze ans, avant-premières, conférences, tournages, soirées privées ou évènementielles se succèdent (MTV, Canal +, Microsoft, Dassault, Rolls-Royce, Cartier, Christian Dior…). quelle est l’histoire de ce lieu ?
Le Palais Bulles est un concept architectural d’un « habitologue » non conformiste hongrois, Antti Lovag, créé à la demande d’un industriel lyonnais, Pierre Bernard. La maison voit le jour en 1984. Rachetée en 1992 par Pierre Cardin, le couturier visionnaire se lance très vite dans des nouveaux travaux d’agrandissement et l’agencement d’un théâtre de 500 places. Aujourd’hui, le Palais est un lieu inspiré et inspirant qui attire à lui le meilleur de la modernité et qui, depuis 2000, est devenu un lieu de réception, d’exposition et d’attraction unique.
qu’est ce qui a séduit pierre cardin dans ce palais et qu’y préfère-t-il ?
Pierre Cardin, créateur futuriste, attiré par le cosmos, fut tout de suite séduit par le génie créatif d’Antti Lovag. Au Palais, tout épouse des formes sphériques... Cette bulle organique ne pouvait que séduire le grand couturier, lui qui a cherché tout au long de sa carrière à atteindre la perfection du rond dans la création de ses vêtements. Avec le Palais Bulles, Pierre Cardin a affirmé le rond en s’inscrivant dedans !

Côté photographie, l’ambition première est d’offrir un panorama inattendu, diversifié et qualitatif, de la création contemporaine : de la Corée du Sud aux États-Unis, du nu à la photographie conceptuelle en passant par l’art numérique. Cet été, vous pourrez admirer l’œuvre photographique de Peter Klasen, figure de proue de la figuration narrative. Côté sculpture, Opiom Gallery met à l’honneur une approche élargie de la création plastique en proposant des œuvres qui se démarquent par l’usage de leur matériau. Les sculptures équilibristes de l’artiste Laurence Bonnel y sont exposées de façon permanente (voir encadré). Collectionneur depuis plus de 25 ans, c’est le désir de promouvoir des artistes dont l’œuvre trouve en lui une résonance sincère qui a suscité chez Michaël Zingraf le désir de fonder sa propre galerie. Parallèlement aux expositions temporaires, la galerie présente toute l’année sur un étage dédié, une sélection d’œuvres emblématiques du travail de chacun de ses artistes dans des espaces individuels. Régulièrement renouvelés, ceux-ci offrent ainsi une vision plus globale de leur corpus et de leur diversité.

Peter Klasen, né en 1935, est peintre, sculpteur, photographe et réalisateur de grandes installations. Il offre une œuvre complexe et protéiforme immédiatement reconnaissable. Maître de la «figuration narrative», il propose un art parfois inquiétant mais toujours proche de notre monde contemporain. Pour Peter Klasen la photographie est une approche indispensable, un filtre à la réalité. « Photographier la réalité n’est pas la réduire mais la sublimer. Il s’agit d’une investigation du réel à travers l’objectif. Le gros plan limite notre champ de vision et focalise notre attention. Les lieux en marge de nos villes, les faces cachées de notre monde industrialisé exercent une étrange fascination sur moi » confie t-il en 1975. Pour réaliser ses œuvres, l’artiste sélectionne les images, les combine dans ses toiles, découpe et juxtapose des objets. Il emploie les techniques de lithographie et de l’aérographe. Portrait ou parties du corps, la femme est mise en opposition avec le monde industriel et l’univers matériel. Peter Klasen a découvert la Côte d’Azur en 1968, lors d’une exposition à la Fondation Maeght. Un choc immédiat pour cet allemand de Lübeck qui vit une partie de l’année à Châteauneuf, près de Grasse.
Born in 1935, Peter Klasen, painter, sculptor, photographer and producer of large installations is immediately recognizable by his work is both complex and multi-faceted. A master of "narrative figuration", his art is sometimes disconcerting but always close to our contemporary world. For Peter Klasen, photography is an indispensable approach, a filter of reality. As he explained in 1975: "Photographing reality does not mean reducing it, but rather sublimating it. It involves an investigation of what is real through the lens. A close-up limits our field of vision and focuses our attention. Places on the outskirts of our towns, the hidden aspects of our industrialized world, exercise a strange fascination over me". To produce his works, the artist selects images, combines them in his canvases, cuts out and juxtaposes objects. He employs the techniques of lithography and the airbrush. In portraits or parts of the body, women are set in opposition to the industrial world and the physical universe. Peter Klasen discovered the Côte d’Azur in 1968 during an exhibition at the Maeght Foundation. An immediate shock for this German artist from Lübeck, who lives for part of the year in Châteauneuf, near Grasse.

Step inside the Opiom Gallery, an exceptional space of over 600 m2 on two floors, offering decidedly pure design. The program compiled by Eve Dorefice Janprasert alternates well-established and emerging artists, selected for the authenticity and originality of their work, with the clearly assumed goal of pushing back the limits of conventional approaches to these forms of art. In the case of photography, the main aim is to offer an unexpected and diverse panorama of contemporary creation of very high quality: from South Korea to the United States, from nudes to conceptual photography and digital art. This summer, you will be able to admire the photographic work of Peter Klasen, a leading light in narrative figuration. As for sculpture, the Opiom Gallery gives a place of honour to a broader approach to the fine arts by proposing works which stand out for the use of their materials. The "equilibrist" sculptures of artist Laurence Bonnel are here on permanent display. A collector for more than 25 years, Michaël Zingraf decided to open his own gallery due to his desire to promote artists whose work strikes a real chord in him. In parallel to temporary exhibitions, the gallery dedicates throughout the year an entire floor to a selection of iconic examples of the work of each of its artists in individual spaces. Regularly renewed, they thus offer a more global view of their production and diversity.

Née en 1976 à Paris, Laurence Bonnel suit des études de Lettres à la Sorbonne de 1993 à 1997, qui tournent autour de la figure de l’artiste. Cette notion prend une place essentielle dans ses sculptures dès 1998. Une figure d’équilibriste dont l’artiste capte l’instable traversée en explorant, par duplication des formes, la notion de passage d’un état physique et émotionnel à un autre… Comme si elles figeaient le mouvement fragile de l’existence humaine qui perpétuellement oscille entre deux états pour trouver un équilibre, les sculptures représentent l’être aux prises avec des pôles d’attraction opposés, en lutte contre des gravités. Des gravités qu’incarnent, symboliquement, les pressions exercées par le monde extérieur ou l’intériorité. Laurence Bonnel représente le visage du monde dans la multiplicité de ses facettes : dimension sociale, politique, religieuse ou intime. Depuis sa première exposition à Paris en 2003, ses sculptures ont été exposées à travers le monde, de San Diego à Hong Kong via Singapour.
Elles font aussi parties de collections privées majeures, telles celle du Roi d’Arabie Saoudite, ou bien encore publiques telles que « L’Enjeu », désormais exposé à Christchurch en Nouvelle-Zélande.

Laurence Bonnel presents the face of the world in all it various facets: its social, political, religious and intimate dimensions. Since her first exhibition in Paris in 2003, her sculptures have been displayed all over the world, from San Diego to Hong Kong via Singapore. They also form part of major private collections such as that of the King of Saudi Arabia, and public collections, as for example, her work entitled "L’Enjeu", on exhibit in Christchurch in New Zealand.

Le départ de cette escapade à travers la Provence est donné depuis sa ville emblématique Aix-en-Provence, incontournable cité d’eau et d’art. En partant au volant de cette noble britannique et ses 528 chevaux, on ne manque pas d’admirer à l’Est la sublime montagne Sainte-Victoire si chère à Cézanne... L’habitacle d’exception du véhicule est mis en lumière par des LED. Les éléments sur la console sont chromés, le tableau de bord du conducteur stylisé, jeune et contemporain. Le levier de vitesses noir unifie le style de toutes les commandes et un compartiment de rangement caché est monté entre les sièges arrières pour accueillir et recharger les appareils électroniques, y compris les iPads. On apprécie aussi le WiFi embarqué, qui offre une connectivité à tous les appareils portables à l’intérieur de la voiture. Nous empruntons la départementale 14 vers le Nord, direction le Vaucluse et ses superbes villages perchés dont sept sont classés « Plus Beaux Villages de France » (Gordes, Ménerbes, Vénasque…). De courbes en courbes, à un rythme de sénateur, notre Bentley glisse silencieusement ses 4,81 m d’élégance. Puis, changement d’ambiance immédiat avec une légère accélération, dans un grondement rauque, l’échappement sport optionnel témoigne de la virulente poussée en atteignant en un clin d’œil la limite de vitesse légale… Un vrai bolide ! Première escale à Cadenet, un charmant village typiquement provençal surplombant la vallée de la Durance. Oliviers, champs de lavandin et vignes ornent le paysage. Nous en profitons pour admirer les lignes modernes de notre anglaise : le nouveau pare-chocs, la calandre de radiateur plus petite et ses ailes plus prononcées donnent à l’avant de la voiture une allure plus imposante et déterminée. Ses ailes, équipées d’une nouvelle prise d’air et ornées d’un gracieux « B » à l’aspect métallique mettent en valeur la « ligne de

puissance » caractéristique de Bentley, qui s’étire vers l’arrière. De nouveaux badges d’ailes chromés ont été ajoutés à ce modèle V8 S ainsi qu’une jante de vingt pouces à six rayons triples. Nous poursuivons vers Lourmarin par la départementale 943, dont le premier château de Provence domine le village au pied du Luberon. Composé d’une partie médiévale et d’une Renaissance, il mérite la visite pour ses curieux escaliers et ses appartements magnifiquement meublés. Nous apprécions l’architecture typiquement provençale du village et faisons escale dans l’un de ses deux restaurants gastronomiques. Reprenons la route toujours vers le Nord pour Roussillon. À présent en plein cœur du parc régional du Luberon, on admire, à bord de notre luxueux cabriolet, le point de vue sur les villages perchés entre Bonnieux et Apt, dont la vue permet parfois de voir jusqu’à Avignon… D’Apt, on redescend par la plaine vers Roussillon, classé aussi parmi les plus beaux villages de France. Sa terre d’ocres, de couleurs et de lumière rend l’endroit sublime et unique. En parcourant ses ruelles et ses escaliers, en contemplant ses façades, on admire le résultat de savoir-faire plus que millénaire où l’ocre est partout. Vous pourrez aussi emprunter le Sentier des Ocres, visiter le Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur ou simplement admirer la vue sur le Luberon. Remontons dans notre Bentley Continental pour un autre village classé, Gordes, à une vingtaine de kilomètres à l’Ouest, perché sur les Monts du Vaucluse. La gastronomie provençale y est à l’honneur avec, en vedettes, l’huile d’olive du terroir et ses nombreux vignobles. Notre belle journée en Provence s’achève par une dernière route sinueuse jusqu’aux Baux-de-Provence, somptueux village médiéval classé, perché sur un piton rocheux. We continue our ride to Lourmarin on the Route Départementale 943, where the first Château in Provence surveys the village at the foot of the Luberon. Comprised of a medieval part and a Renaissance part, it is well worth a visit for its curious stairways and magnificently furnished apartments. We also appreciate the village's typical Provencal architecture and pay a visit to one of its
two gastronomic restaurants. Then off we go again, still heading North towards Roussillon. Now driving through the very heart of the Regional Park of the Luberon, we can admire from our luxury convertible the view of the hill-top villages between Bonnieux and Apt, sometimes extending as far as Avignon… From Apt, we descend through the plain towards Roussillon, also listed as one of France's loveliest villages. With its ochre-coloured soil and lovely light, it is a sublime and unique village. Exploring its narrow streets and flights of steps, contemplating its facades, one admires the result of know-how over a thousand years old in which ochre is omnipresent. You can also take the Sentier des Ocres, visit the Conservatoire des Ocres et de la Couleur, or simply admire the view of the Luberon. We head off in our Bentley Continental for another listed village, about twenty kilometres West: Gordes, perched on the Monts du Vaucluse. With its Provencal charm and architectural splendour, it symbolizes in itself alone the richness of Provence's historic heritage. Its drystone houses, little stone "bories", cobbled streets, the church and Château dating back to the Renaissance, its views of the valley and Luberon mountains are all quite ravishing. Off we go again for a 45-minute drive heading west, to Cavaillon. From Plan d’Orgon to Saint-Rémy de Provence the road lined with plane-trees offers a superb view of the Alpilles. A stopover in the must-see Saint-Rémy de Provence whose light and beauty cast their spell on Van Gogh and many other great painters. Provencal gastronomy has won a place of honour here, with locally-produced olive-oil and its numerous vineyards in the starring roles. Our wonderful day in Provence draws to its close on a last winding road taking us to Les Baux-de-Provence, a sumptuous, listed medieval village clinging to a rocky outcrop. Carbon-ceramic brakes maintain perfect control of this magnificent beast weighing 2.3 tons, giving no sign of hesitation despite the sharp decelerations required by this increasingly twisting road. Monaco est un pays tellement hors du commun que mon travail chez Christie’s à Monaco est très varié. Je suis le relais entre la maison de vente aux enchères N° 1 au monde et les clients résidents à Monaco. J’estime gracieusement et confidentiellement une œuvre ou une collection privée, je recherche une pièce d’art pour un client. Une dizaine d’experts viennent chaque mois à Monaco pour rencontrer des collectionneurs et estimer des œuvres dans des domaines très diversifiés : l’art contemporain et impressionniste, les photos, les sacs vintage, les bijoux, l’argenterie, les montres, les meubles et tableaux anciens, l’art russe... il y a plus de 80 départements ! J’apprécie particulièrement le contact privilégié avec les amateurs d’art que j’accompagne également aux foires internationales d’art tel que la TEFAF à Maastricht, l’Art Basel, la Biennale de Venise, ou encore la FIAC et la Frieze. quels ont été les évènements marquants chez christie’s monaco

Le bureau Christie’s de Monaco a ouvert en 1985. La vente inaugurale de Sir Charles Clore, un collectionneur de réputation mondiale y a eu lieu. Parmi les plus grandes ventes qui ont marqué la Principauté : la vente de la collection d’Hubert de Givenchy (le 4 décembre 1993) qui a réalisé un total exceptionnel de 23,6 millions d’euros. Le lot phare de cette vente
extraordinaire était le lustre de la Maison de Hanovre. La prestigieuse vente de la collection d’Akram Ojjeh organisée en décembre 1999 qui regroupait du mobilier et des objets d’art de qualité muséale a également atteint la somme de 220 millions de francs à l’époque soit 33,5 millions d’euros. Depuis 2001, Christie’s peut organiser des ventes à Paris. what does your work with christie’s monaco entail?
Monaco is such an extraordinary country that my work with Christie’s Monaco is extremely varied. I serve as the link between the world’s N°1 auction house and clients residing in Monaco. I estimate artworks and private collections confidentially and free of charge, I search for artworks on behalf of clients. Every month, about ten different experts come to Monaco to meet collectors and estimate items in very diverse fields: contemporary and Impressionist art, photos, vintage handbags, jewellery, watches, silverware, antique furniture and old paintings, Russian art... There are over 80 departments! I especially enjoy this privileged contact with art-lovers, whom I also accompany at international art fairs such as the TEFAF in Maastricht, Art Basel, the Venice Biennale, the FIAC and the Frieze.
