Den Stillstand kennen wir im Movimënt nicht: Auch für diesen Winter haben wir viele Termine und spannende Momente für alle Fans von Alta Badia und den umliegenden Dolomiten im Programm. Die Movimënt-Parks – Snowpark, Funslope, Funcross und Kidsslope – sind eine unverzichtbare Etappe im Pistenkarussell des Dolomiti Superski. Hier warten Schneevergnügen und völlige Entfaltungsfreiheit inmitten der sagenhaft schönen Berge des Dolomiten UNESCO-Welterbes. Movimënt steht für einmalige Erlebnisse an der Seite lieber Menschen, im Kreise der Familie, mit Freunden und Weggefährten: In Alta Badia wird bei Sport, Bewegung und Vergnügen ordentlich neue Energie getankt.

SKICAROSELLO SMART SNOW

IT Sulle piste Movimënt la neve è smart e green oriented Ormai da diversi anni il Consorzio Skicarosello Corvara investe in sistemi per la gestione dell’energia e delle risorse idriche. Lo Snow Management, per la gestione trasparente dell’innevamento e lo SnowSat, per la manutenzione giornaliera delle piste da sci, sono due esempi d’eccellenza per la gestione sostenibile del comprensorio sciistico. L’innevamento programmato è sempre e comunque realizzato con l’acqua piovana che viene trasformata in neve, e poi torna alla terra, in un eterno ciclo naturale. La tecnologia aiuta: Skicarosello ha adottato SnowMan (ovvero Snow Managemen), sviluppato presso il Polo Tecnologico di Rovereto da BPEng. Un sistema che acquisisce dati come la quantità di neve prodotta dai cannoni, mettendola in relazione con quella presente sulla pista da sci e rilevata dai sensori presenti sui gatti della neve, in grado di valutare anche la conformazione del terreno. Queste informazioni, geolocalizzate grazie al segnale Gps, sono utilizzate per decidere quali impianti di innevamento azionare, e per quanto tempo, fino al raggiungimento della quantità di neve di volta in volta necessaria. Tutto questo si traduce in un notevole risparmio di acqua ed elettricità, riducendo a zero lo spreco di queste risorse. Attualmente SnowMan è attivo su tutte le piste di Skicarosello Corvara.

La tecnologia viene incontro anche ai turisti e agli sciatori, che spesso si ritrovano a scegliere verso quale località dirigersi in base al “fattore neve”, elemento trainante della stagione. Skicarosello ha optato per la massima trasparenza e correttezza: il pubblico, tramite snowreport.skicarosello.it, a inizio stagione può verificare in tempo reale, ora dopo ora, lo stato di avanzamento e di innevamento di ogni pista e valutare così le condizioni delle piste e la loro preparazione.

DE Der Schnee im Movimënt ist smart und nachhaltig Das Konsortium hat in ein Snow-Management-System und transparentes Beschneiungsmanagement investiert.

Für die Beschneiung wird Niederschlagswasser in Schnee umgewandelt und in einem ewigen, natürlichen Kreislauf der Natur schließlich wieder zugeführt. Dabei hilft Technologie: Skicarosello verwendet das im Technologiepark Rovereto von BPEng entwickelte Programm SnowMan (kurz für Snow Management). Das System erfasst Daten wie z.B. die pro Schneekanone erzeugte Menge Schnee oder Schneemenge und verknüpft sie mit den Informationen zu Schneevolumen und Bodenbeschaffenheit der Piste. Die geolokalisierten Informationen zeigen, welche Kanonen wie lange in Betrieb genommen werden müssen: Dies ermöglicht erhebliche Wasser- und Energieeinsparungen ohne jegliche Verschwendung. Derzeit wird SnowMan auf allen Pisten im Skicarosello eingesetzt.

EN Smart, green snow on the Movimënt slopes

The investments of the Consortium include a Snow-Management system and transparent snowmaking practices.

Planned snowmaking is always carried out using rainwater which is transformed into snow and returned to the earth, in an eternal natural cycle. Technology helps: The Skicarosello has adopted SnowMan (Snow Management), a system developed by BPEng at the Technology Park in Rovereto. The system records data such as quantity of cannon-produced snow and links it with information regarding the snow volume and terrain conditions on the slopes, acquired by snowcat sensors. This information is GPS geolocalised, and is used to decide which snowmakers to activate, and for how long, in order to reach the quantity of snow required. This saves a considerable amount of water and electricity and eradicates resource wastage entirely. At the moment, SnowMan is currently running on all the Skicarosello Corvara slopes.

The technology is also of assistance to tourists and skiers, who often base their decision choices on the “snow factor,” the driving force of the season. Skicarosello has made a conscious decision to provide absolute transparency and fairness: From the beginning of the season onwards, the public can access snowreport.skicarosello.it hour by hour, to check the snow conditions for every slope and receive updated information on conditions and preparation.

IT COME NASCE LA NEVE?

La neve si forma nelle nubi dell'alta atmosfera, dove minuscole particelle d'acqua a temperature molto basse iniziano ad attaccarsi l'una all'altra, fino a formare il classico cristallo che compone la neve. Aumentando di peso queste micro particelle cristallizzate cadono verso terra.

Durante la caduta, a seconda della diverse temperature nell'atmosfera, più cristalli possono attaccarsi e formare fiocchi di neve di maggiori dimensioni.

Lo stesso principio vale per la realizzazione della neve artificiale. L'acqua viene pompata nei cannoni di neve ad una data pressione per poi essere nebulizzata grazie ad un getto d'aria. A temperature che partono da – 2° C, le minuscole goccioline d'acqua, nel tragitto che dal cannone porta al suolo, si trasformano in cristalli di neve.

DE WOHER KOMMT DER SCHNEE?

Der Schnee entsteht in den Wolken der oberen Atmosphäre. Bei sehr niedrigen Temperaturen verbinden sich winzige Wasserpartikel zu Eiskristallen. Diese kristallisierten Mikropartikel fallen durch zunehmendes Gewicht nach unten.

Während des Falls können sich, je nach Temperatur, mehrere Eiskristalle verbinden, um Schneeflocken verschiedener Größe zu bilden.

Dasselbe Prinzip gilt auch bei der Erzeugung von Kunstschnee. Dazu wird Wasser bei einem bestimmten Druck in die Kanonen gepumpt und mittels Druckluft zerstäubt. Bei Temperaturen unter null verwandeln sich die winzigen Wassertropfen in Schneekristalle.

EN WHERE DOES SNOW COME FROM?

Snow forms in the clouds in the upper atmosphere, where tiny particles of water at very low temperatures begin to clump together to form the classic crystals that make up snow. As these crystallised micro particles get heavier, they fall to the ground.

As they fall, depending on the different temperatures in the atmosphere, more crystals can attach themselves to form bigger snowflakes. The same principle applies to making artificial snow. The water is pumped into the snow cannons at a specific pressure to then be atomised by a jet of air. At temperatures below freezing, the tiny water droplets turn into snow crystals on the way from the cannon to the ground.

Lo Snowpark sulla pista Ciampai con i suoi 47 elementi e sei lines è un punto di ritrovo per principianti ed esperti, amanti del freestyle e delle acrobazie con sci e snowboard ai piedi.

Funslope e Funcross si snodano al centro del comprensorio sciistico, tra i pendii delle piste Biok/La Para con divertenti paraboliche, morbide mani giganti alla quale dare il cinque e tunnel di neve. 900 mt. di puro piacere circondati da un panorama unico.

Il quarto asso nella manica è la Kidslope sulla pista Pralongià I. Pendio adatto ai più piccoli, dove tra spassose curve, piccoli saliti e morbide fette di formaggio imparare a sciare è puro divertimento.

Das vierte Assi im Ärmel ist die Kidslope auf der Pralongià-Piste I. Eine Piste, die für die Kleinsten geeignet ist, wo zwischen lustigen Kurven, kleinen Anstiegen und weichen Käsescheiben das Erlernen des Skifahrens zum reinen Vergnügen wird.

The Snowpark on the Ciampai slope with its 47 elements and 6 lines is a meeting point for beginners and experts, lovers of freestyle and acrobatics, whether it be with skis or snowboards.

The Funslope and Funcross wind through the centre of the ski area, between the hillsides of the Biok/La Para slopes, featuring fun curves, soft giant hands to high five and snow tunnels. 900 metres of pure pleasure surrounded by a unique scenery.

The fourth ace up the sleeve is the Kidslope on the Pralongià I. A slope suitable for children, where, between fun curves, small hill climbs, and soft slices of cheese, learning to ski is pure fun.

Con ben cinque aree, sei lines e in totale 47 elementi ce n’è per ogni gusto allo Snowpark Alta Badia. La Easy Line con kickers amatoriali e butter boxes tranquille, fa sì che la giornata nel park inizi in maniera rilassante e offre allo stesso tempo a tutti i principianti la possibilità di lavorare sui propri primi tricks. Per chi invece ha già oltrepassato questo step, può sbizzarrirsi sulla Medium Jib Line e la Medium Kicker Line. Allora tutti sulla Top Section, sicuramente il punto più divertente dello Snowpark Alta Badia. Come alternativa c’è la Snake Run direttamente all’entrata del park, per un inizio a tutto flow in banked rally style. L’highlight dello Snowpark però, è con certezza l’Advanced Kicker Line, che con i suoi booters da 11 e da 13 metri regala airtime in abbondanza.

Die Easy Line mit anfängerfreundlichen Kickern und gemütlichen Butter Boxen ermöglicht einen entspannten Einstieg in den Tag im Park und bietet allen Anfängern die Gelegenheit an ihren ersten Tricks zu arbeiten. Wer diesen Schritt bereits hinter sich hat, kann sich in der Medium Jib Line und Medium Kicker Line austoben. Lust auf Abwechslung und kreative Lines? Dann ab in die Top Section, den mit Sicherheit verspieltesten Teil des Snowpark Alta Badia. Alternativ dazu sorgt der Snake Run direkt beim Eingang in den Park für einen flowigen Einstieg im Banked Rally Style. Highlight des Snowparks ist jedoch garantiert die Advanced Kicker Line, die mit 11m und 13m Bootern ordentlich Airtime liefert.

EN Freestyle in the heart of the Dolomites

Local crews such as the Pirates as well as many international riders prove year after year that Snowpark Alta Badia guarantees progression and variation for all levels. Five areas, six lines and a total of 47 obstacles guarantee that everyone will find something to shred at Snowpark Alta Badia. The Easy Line with beginner-friendly kickers and chilled Butter Boxes allows an easy-going start into the day and lets all rookies work on their first tricks. Whoever has already passed this point can go crazy on the Medium Jib Line and the Medium Kicker Line. Looking for some variety and creative lines? Then check out the Top Section, the most playful part of Snowpark Alta Badia. The Snake Run right at the entrance offers an alternative entry to the park in a banked rally style. The highlight of the park will once more be the Advanced Kicker Line, providing two booters with 11m and 13m and a lot of airtime.

IT Divertimento assicurato per grandi e piccini La Funslope, situata accanto alla seggiovia Biok, offre un'esperienza sulla neve davvero unica in Alta Badia. Sciatori e snowboarder di tutte le età e di tutti i livelli si divertono su una pista lunga poco più di un chilometro, piena di onde divertenti, curve a gomito e altri elementi emozionanti. Preparatevi, accovacciatevi e partite! Già dal primo istante, appena si entra nella Funslope Biok, il divertimento per tutta la famiglia è assicurato! Il primo piccolo salto e il successivo music box su cui scivolare, dà a grandi e piccini la possibilità di mostrare le loro capacità. L'apprezzato speed boost vi mette nella giusta modalità di divertimento fin dall'inizio, prima di arrivare alle casette di neve scintillanti, agli anelli giganti e alle prime curve strette.

Attenzione, attenzione! Anche durante questa stagione, a metà pista, il nostro caro slope cop vigila attentamente, per assicurarsi che il livello di divertimento sia al massimo della sicurezza e che la velocità non sfugga di mano! Ma non preoccupatevi, questo simpaticone preferisce strappare una sorriso con i suoi commenti divertenti. La noia sulla Funslope non è mai di casa, infatti, il finale della pista è un divertentissimo tracciato per sciare sulla gigantesca chiocciola di neve, con tunnel musicale, per poi sbucare direttamente sull'altalenante pista a doppia onda, dove potrete riacquistare la giusta velocità per raggiungere la casetta delle fiabe. In dirittura d'arrivo, potete dare un high five a Slopy, il nostro adorabile abitante della Funslope, e fargli un bel sorriso. Appena si è pronti per un altro giro di divertimento e di azione, basta prendere immediatamente la seggiovia Biok, che vi riporterà rapidamente all'ingresso della Funslope. Respirate profondamente, regolate gli occhiali e pregustate la prossima spettacolare discesa sulla Funslope Biok in Alta Badia!

DE Action auf der Spaßpiste für Groß & Klein

Auf eine extra große Portion Action und Spaß kann man sich in Alta Badia auf der Funslope Biok freuen. Direkt beim Sessellift Biok gelegen und auf einer Länge von knapp einem Kilometer erwarten alle Ski- und Snowboardbegeisterten jeden Alters viele spannende Elemente wie Steilkurven, Wellen und andere lustige Attraktionen. Überzeugt euch selbst!

Mach dich bereit, in die Hocke und los! Gleich zu Beginn der Funslope sind Abenteuer und Action ganz großgeschrieben. Schon beim ersten kleinen Schanzensprung oder der Box zum drüber gleiten kann Klein und auch Groß zeigen was sie drauf haben. Der beliebte Speed-Boost versetzt euch von Anfang an in den richtigen Funslope-Modus, bevor ihr zum glitzernden kleinen Schneehäuschen, den Riesen-Ringen und den ersten scharfen Kurven kommt.

Achtung, aufgepasst! Auch diese Saison wird wieder geblitzt: Unser lieber Slope Cop achtet genau darauf, dass das Spaß-Level eingehalten wird und die Geschwindigkeit nicht überhandnimmt! Doch keine Bange, dieser gut gelaunte Geselle verteilt lieber freche Sprüche als Strafzettel. Die nächsten Meter der Spaßpiste werden auch ganz bestimmt nicht langweilig denn es geht durch die sensationelle Schnecke und direkt zur schwungvollen Doppelwellenbahn, auf der man nochmal ordentlich Gas geben kann. Auf der Zielgerade könnt ihr Slopy, unserem liebenswerten Funslope-Bewohner ein dickes High Five geben und ihm einen großen Grinser zuwerfen.

Wenn du bereit für eine weitere Runde Spaß und Action bist, rutscht du einfach geradeaus zum Sessellift Biok, der dich schnell zurück zum Eingang der Funslope bringt. Tief durchatmen, Brille zurechtrücken und auf die nächste spektakuläre Abfahrt auf der Funslope Biok in Alta Badia freuen!

EN Brisk snow fun for old and young

The Funslope, located just next to the Biok chairlift, makes for a specially unique snow experience in Alta Badia. Skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill levels are entertained on a length of just over a kilometer that is filled with fun waves, banked turns, and other exciting elements.

Are you ready? Set! Go! You can already tell there will be fun and action for the whole family as soon as you enter the Funslope Biok! There is plenty room to demonstrate your skills by sliding over a box or jumping over the first few small kickers. The speedboost puts you in the right Funslope mode especially for those among us who are more interested in fast-paced experiences before you proceed through our dazzling snow houses and the hoop race.

Beware! You need to be careful when you reach the first banked turns because our slope cop will be there, to ensure that the fun-levels are appropriate and that you maintain the pace. But relax; you won't be getting a ticket! Instead, you might squeeze out a laugh because of his funny comments. Absolutely no one will get bored on the following few meters, too, though: Before continuing to the finish line, you can gain some speed on our sweeping snow waves and spin around in circles on our amazing snow-made fun twister. Before you start your next round, don’t forget to give our lovely Funslope inhabitant Slopy a strong high five and a big fat smile.

Once you’re ready for another round of fun and action, go straight ahead to the chairlift Biok, which will quickly transport you back to the Funslope's entrance. Breathe deeply and anticipate another amazing run down the Funslope Biok in Alta Badia!

La partenza dalla seggiovia Biok spiana la strada alla velocità e ad abbondanti quantità di flow. E subito al via con le prime onde di neve seguite da curve paraboliche, una doppia onda e una chicane. Ma è già il momento di prepararsi al primo salto prima che il tracciato si ricongiunga con il secondo tratto della Funcross sulla pista La Para.

La seconda partenza soddisfa invece i fan del carving. Tutti i talentuosi e sportivi dalla tecnica possono qui, tra le dinamiche curve paraboliche, prendere lo slancio e vivere il flow in maniera completamente diversa. Ovviamente, anche in questa sezione della pista non poteva assolutamente mancare un salto, proprio dove le due parti del tracciato si collegano fra loro. Ma non è finita qui, perché con due rettilinei diversi possiamo dire, ancora una volta, “double flow” al Funcross La Para! Il primo rettilineo è dedicato a tutti gli amanti della velocità, perché proprio con il rilevatore di velocità finale è possibile battere il proprio record personale. La seconda versione invece, propone ancora onde e curve paraboliche da oltrepassare con quel leggero bruciore alle cosce. E subito dopo, tutti di nuovo sullo skilift! Dopotutto, con tutte queste opzioni, del Funcross Biok/La Para non me abbiamo mai abbastanza!

Eine Mischung aus Technik und Geschwindigkeit, so lässt sich mit wenigen Worten beschreiben, was den Reiz des Funcross Biok/La Para ausmacht.

Zwei Eingänge für zweifachen Spaß!

Der Start vom Biok-Sessellift ebnet den Weg für Geschwindigkeit und viel Flow. Und sofort folgen die ersten Schneewellen, Steilkurven, eine Doppelwelle und eine Schikane. Aber gleich muss man sich auf den ersten Sprung vorbereiten, bevor die Strecke wieder mit dem zweiten FuncrossAbschnitt auf der La Para-Piste zusammengeführt wird.

Der zweite Start hingegen ist etwas für Carving-Fans. Talentierte und technisch versierte Sportler können hier zwischen den dynamischen Steilkurven in Schwung kommen und den Flow auf ganz andere Art erleben. Natürlich durfte auch in diesem Teil der Piste ein Sprung nicht fehlen, genau dort, wo die beiden Streckenteile wieder zusammengeführt werden.

Aber das ist noch nicht alles, denn mit zwei verschiedenen Geraden können wir wieder einmal sagen: “Double Flow” beim Funcross La Para!

Die erste Gerade ist für alle Geschwindigkeitsfanatiker gedacht, denn mit dem Geschwindigkeitsmesser lässt sich der persönliche Rekord schlagen.

Die zweite Version hingegen bietet mehr Wellen und Steilkurven, die mit einem leichten Brennen in den Oberschenkeln bewältigt werden. Gleich danach geht es wieder zurück zum Lift. Denn mit all diesen Optionen können wir vom Funcross Biok/La Para nie genug bekommen!

EN Double the flow!

IT Una pista pensata per i più piccoli!

La Kidslope Pralongià è la new entry nella famiglia dei Movimënt Parks. Situata a fianco allo Skilift Pralongià I, la Kidslope Pralongià è dedicata ai più piccoli. Promette ancora più divertimento e fantastiche avventure per i giovanissimi amanti della neve!

La pista in formato famiglia, adornata da tunnel di neve, anelli di gommapiuma giganti, simpatiche figure sul tracciato e altre attrazioni per bambini, fa sì che la giornata di sci diventi davvero speciale.

L’highlight della nuova pista è sicuramente l’Hoop Race - anelli giganti, che invitano a sfrecciarci in mezzo e ad imparare a curvare. Figure di stoffa colorate e piccoli ostacoli generano emozioni che rimarranno impresse nella mente dei piccoli ospiti a lungo. Così, i primi passi sugli sci o sullo snowboard saranno ancora più divertenti e indimenticabili.

Ma non temete, non solo i bambini sono i benvenuti alla Kidslope Pralongià, siamo sicuri che anche i genitori, i nonni e i membri più adulti della famiglia potranno riscoprirsi bambini.

Die Kidslope Pralongià ist der Neuzugang in der Familie der Movimënt Parks. Direkt neben dem Skilift Pralongià I gelegen, ist die Kidslope Pralongià die für die Kleinsten gedacht ist. Sie verspricht noch mehr Spaß und fantastische Abenteuer für die ganz kleinen Schneebegeisterten!

Die familienfreundliche Piste mit Schneetunneln, riesigen Schaumstoffringen, niedlichen Figuren auf dem Parcours und anderen Attraktionen für Kids sorgt für einen ganz besonderen Skitag.

Das Highlight der neuen Piste ist zweifellos das Hoop Race - riesige Ringe, die dazu einladen, durch sie hindurchzusausen und dabei das Kurvenfahren zu erlernen. Bunte Stofffiguren und kleine Hindernisse erzeugen Emotionen, die den kleinen Gästen noch lange im Gedächtnis bleiben werden. Die ersten Schritte auf Skiern oder auf dem Snowboard werden auf diese Weise noch mehr Spaß machen und unvergesslich sein. Aber keine Sorge, nicht nur die Kinder sind in der Kidslope Pranlongià willkommen. Mit Sicherheit werden sich auch die Eltern, Großeltern und älteren Familienmitglieder wieder als Kinder fühlen.

EN A track designed for the little ones!

Kidslope Pralongià is the new entry in the Movimënt parks family. Located next to the Pralongià I Ski lift, Kidslope Pralongià is dedicated to children. It promises even more fun and fantastic adventures for very young snow lovers!

The family-size track, adorned with snow tunnels, giant feather rubber rings, cute figures on the track, and other attractions for kids, makes a day of skiing really special.

The highlight of the new track is definitely the Hoop Race – giant rings, which invite you to zip down the middle while learning to curve. Colourful cloth figures and small obstacles create emotions that will remain etched in the minds of small guests for a long time. Thus, the first steps on skiing or snowboarding will be even more fun and unforgettable.

But don’t worry! Not only children are welcome at Kidslope Pralongià. We are sure that parents, grandparents, and older members of the family will also be able to rediscover their inner child.

IT Eccolo Peter, curioso come solo i bambini di 10 anni sanno esserlo, rovistare tra le cianfrusaglie nel garage della nonna. Una bicicletta bucata, qualche libro impolverato, una macchina da scrivere del dopoguerra, una tovaglia morsicata dai topi. “Insomma non c’è proprio niente di interessante tra questo disordine!” pensa tra sè e sè il nostro piccolo esploratore, ed è proprio in quell’istante che la vede lì, sotto una coperta rosso rubino. Le lamine dorate, un telaio giallo acceso (il suo colore preferito), è lei, è la slitta dei suoi sogni. Un bolide in ferro e legno nascosto sicuramente dal fratello più grande per evitare che Peter la prendesse. Di corsa a casa, tuta da sci, berretto, guanti, occhiali, scarponcini e subito al Piz Sorega, al Tru Liösa Foram.

La pista da slittino Foram, in ladino “Tru Liösa Foram” si trova a monte dell’ovovia Piz Sorega, a San Cassiano.

La lunghezza complessiva della pista è di 3,5 km. Lungo il tracciato si trovano delle protezioni in legno per garantire la sicurezza della pista. Le pendenze variano dal 10% al 15% massimo e il tracciato ha un dislivello totale di 460 metri. Alla stazione a monte della cabinovia del Piz Sorega a San Cassiano, il Park Movimënt è un luogo dedicato a tante attività per scoprire e imparare cose divertenti ed interessanti sulla natura.

Ein Fahrrad mit einer Reifenpanne, einige verstaubte Bücher, eine Schreibmaschine aus der Nachkriegszeit, eine von Mäusen zerbissene Tischdecke. „Überhaupt nichts Interessantes in diesem Durcheinander“, denkt der kleine Forscher bei sich, und genau in diesem Moment sieht er ihn unter einer rubinroten Decke. Vergoldete Kufen, ein leuchtend gelbes Fahrgestell, da ist er, sein Traumschlitten. Ein Bolide aus Eisen und Holz, den der ältere Bruder bestimmt versteckt hatte, damit er ihn nicht findet.

In Sekundenschnelle ist Peter zu Hause, zieht sich Skianzug, Mütze, Handschuhe und Schneestiefel an und flitzt zum Piz Sorega auf die Tru Liösa Foram, die Schlittenpiste in St. Kassian.

Die Rodelpiste Foram, auf Ladinisch „Tru Liösa Foram”, liegt über der Kabinenbahn Piz Sorega, in St. Kassian.

Die Piste ist insgesamt 3,5 Km lang. Für die Sicherheit der Piste sorgen Rückhaltesysteme aus Holz. Das Gefälle der Piste variiert zwischen 10% und 15% und der Höhenunterschied beträgt insgesamt 460 m. Über der Station der Anlage Piz Sorega bei St. Kassian, befindet sich der Park Movimënt. Hier gibt es für Groß und Klein jede Menge über die Natur zu entdecken.

Lo Speedcheck si trova sulla pista Capanna Nera a Corvara, di fianco all'omonimo skilift, all'altezza della strada che porta verso il Passo Campolongo.

To reinforce the message, the slogan is accompanied by a spectacular imagery of a backflip jump at the Snowpark Alta Badia. “The image provides an instant awareness of the energy that the Movimënt parks bring; this energy is even more potent if you have the freedom to do precisely the activities that you want,” explains Alessandro Huber, Marketing Manager for the Skicarosello Corvara Consortium. “The Movimënt offer has been designed to ensure that the whole family have fun. Adrenalin lovers can take gravity-defying jumps in the Snowpark, speed freaks – even the youngest – can let loose on the Fun cross or the Fun slope, and thrill seekers can ski like true champions on the Movimënt Challenge circuit, which passes the Start House of the Gran Risa.”

“The great thing about the Movimënt is its all-inclusiveness,” Huber continues. “It is an offer designed for young kids and also for the adults and parents who are with them. Even beginners can ski the easy slopes and find features designed to improve their skills, while the more practiced skiers can spend their time on the slopes and in parks well-suited to their skills. We decided to use the Ladino language for our slogan because we want people to understand that we take our fun seriously here. Abbiamo intervistato Ernst Knam, pasticciere, noto volto TV, autore di libri e incontrastato Re del Cioccolato. Ernst, accompagnato dall’inseparabile Alessandra, alias Frau Knam e i loro figli, frequentano da anni l’Alta Badia sia d’estate che d’inverno. Amano tutte le stagioni in montagna, e reputano la natura che li circonda, fonte di ispirazione. "Le Dolomiti sono un posto magico...basta camminare nella foresta, sentire i profumi della natura che ti avvolgono e le idee vengono da sé."

Ernst und seine Gattin Alessandra kommen seit Jahren gemeinsam mit ihren Kindern im Sommer als auch im Winter nach Alta Badia. Sie lieben alle Jahreszeiten in den Bergen und betrachten die Natur als Quelle der Inspiration. „Die Dolomiten sind ein magischer Ort... man muss nur durch den Wald spazieren, den Duft der Natur einatmen, und schon kommen die Ideen.“

EN “I’ve created the Movimënt dessert!”

Ernst Knam: pastry chef, well-known TV personality, author and undisputed King of Chocolate., together with his inseparable wife Alessandra have been coming to Alta Badia with their children in both the summer and winter months for a number of years now. They love every season here in the mountains and consider the surrounding countryside to be a wellspring of inspiration. "The Dolomites are a magical place... all you need to do is walk in the forest, smell the scents of nature, and ideas just appear of their own accord.”

In a brief break between his 1,001 commitments, Ernst kindly took the time to answer our 5 questions.

IT Ciao Ernst, cosa ami di più dell’Alta Badia? E come mai tu e la tua famiglia avete scelto proprio questo posto per le vostre vacanze?

E. Quello che amo di più dell'Alta Badia è sicuramente la tranquillità, ma anche il richiamo ai paesaggi e alla natura di casa mia vicino al Lago di Costanza in Germania. Mi piace l'aria pulita che si respira, il fatto che si possa camminare per ore senza incontrare nessuno, mi regala una serenità interiore pazzesca. Inoltre quando sono in Alta Badia riesco a creare nuove ricette, è un luogo perfetto per ricaricare il corpo e stare in tranquillità con la famiglia lontano dai riflettori. Diciamo pure che le 4 ore in macchina da Milano si fanno più che volentieri.

La natura è fonte di ispirazione, hai mai creato un dolce pensando alle Dolomiti?

E. Le Dolomiti sono un posto magico che mi regala sempre nuove ispirazioni, ci sono cose magnifiche. Basta camminare nella foresta, sentire i profumi della natura che ti avvolgono e le idee vengono da sé. Ora, ad esempio, ho creato un dolce ispirato al cuore dell'Alta Badia, “Movimënt”. Quando pensiamo a questi luoghi, all'Alto Adige, vengono in mente subito prodotti eccellenti come: mele, pere, albicocche ma anche miele e una varietà infinita di erbe aromatiche, utilizzando tutti questi ingredienti naturali si possono ottenere prodotti incredibili. Hanno addirittura creato un Gin fatto con la stella alpina di coltivazione biologica, un Gin dal gusto unico, meraviglioso. Si trovano tantissimi prodotti pazzeschi e spunti d'ispirazione che rendono per me l'Alta Badia un luogo irrinunciabile.

Il 1° dicembre, a Milano, è stato presentato il dolce “Movimënt”, di cosa si tratta? Per farlo, sei stato ispirato da qualche momento passato sull’altipiano dell’Alta Badia?

E. Sì, il primo dicembre c'è stata la bellissima presentazione per il dolce “Movimënt”, una creazione che io divido in due parti, due stagionalità: una versione autunno/inverno e una versione primavera/estate. Quando si pensa ad un dolce per l'Alta Badia viene subito in mente il miele di pino mugo, che non può mai mancare. Abbiamo inserito anche un croccantino con arachidi salati che sviluppa ulteriormente il gusto, il cioccolato è sempre un elemento irrinunciabile, come anche il caramello salato. Dentro un paté di mela per riprendere il gusto del frutto altoatesino. Tutti questi ingredienti hanno il potere di richiamare appieno i sapori e il gusto unico delle Dolomiti. Sto già lavorando alla versione estiva...

Fai delle creazioni di cioccolato fantastiche, ma qual è la tua preferita o meglio detto, qual è il dolce che ami di più?

E. È vero faccio moltissime creazioni di cioccolato, sceglierne una è impossibile, le amo tutte. Io amo tutte le cose buone, mi piace creare sculture, come torte, ma anche un semplice biscotto se fatto bene e cioccolatini. Se devo scegliere una cosa forse proprio il cioccolatino, perché in 8/10 gr di involucro creare qualcosa dentro che "esplode" con tutto il suo gusto quando lo sciogli in bocca è il massimo. Li chiamo piccoli gioielli. In 8 grammi creare anche 4/5 strati sentendone il sapore uno ad uno, con l'acidità, il cioccolato, la frutta, le spezie questo mi dà tanta soddisfazione.

Via Anfossi a Milano è il tuo regno e ogni anni presenti delle bellissime novità, l’ultima in fase di arrivo è l’apertura di una gelateria. Quali sono i prossimi progetti? Continueremo a vederti in Tv e nelle librerie?

E. Via Anfossi 10 è il nostro regno, ma abbiamo anche il negozio di Via Anfossi 19 dove esattamente un anno fa Frau Knam ha aperto la sua pasticceria. È diventata la vera "pink lady" della pasticceria. Frau crea tutte quelle cose che non produco io: bignè, cannoncini, mignon, macaron, gelatine, e una produzione di cioccolatini diversi, 25 tipi, che possono stare fuori dal frigorifero anche due mesi per la gioia dei viaggiatori. Nel mio negozio realizziamo cose diverse, ecco perché dico sempre che siamo "complementari", completiamo la nostra proposta di dolci. In televisione ci vedrete insieme fino a giugno con la nostra rubrica "La Dolceria" all'interno dello storico programma di Rai2 "I Fatti Vostri" di Michele Guardì. Mentre Bake Off Italia, condotto da Benedetta Parodi è appena terminato su Real Time ed è stato un vero successo, aspettiamo di sapere se torneremo il prossimo anno con l'undicesima edizione. Frau Knam sta scrivendo un libro tutto suo con tante buonissime ricette e anche io ho in serbo qualcosa. Posso solo anticiparvi che il 2023 sarà un anno ricco di novità e cambiamenti interessanti. Dunque seguiteci, soprattutto perché questa collaborazione con "Movimënt" porterà tante cose belle e molta soddisfazione.

DE Hallo Ernst, was magst du besonders an Alta Badia? Wie kommt es, dass du deinen Urlaub hier verbringst?

E. An Alta Badia liebe ich besonders die Ruhe – außerdem erinnern mich Landschaft und Natur an meine Heimat am Bodensee. Ich mag die saubere Luft und die Tatsache, dass man stundenlang wandern kann, ohne einer Menschenseele zu begegnen: Das entspannt mich ungemein. Außerdem kann ich in Alta Badia neue Rezepte kreieren. Hier kann ich Kraft tanken und mit meiner Familie ruhige Tage abseits des Rampenlichts verbringen. Die vierstündige Fahrt von Mailand aus lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Die Natur ist eine Quelle der Inspiration. Hast du schon einmal beim Anblick der Dolomiten ein Dessert kreiert?

E. Die Dolomiten sind ein magischer Ort, der mich immer wieder neu inspiriert. Man muss nur durch den Wald spazieren, den Duft der Natur einatmen, und schon kommen die Ideen. Beispielsweise habe ich gerade ein Dessert zu Ehren des pulsierenden Herzens von Alta Badia erfunden – „Movimënt“. Beim Gedanken an diese Orte, an Südtirol, denkt man unweigerlich sofort an eine Reihe hervorragender Produkte: Äpfel, Birnen, Aprikosen, aber auch Honig und eine unendliche Vielfalt an Kräutern. Aus all diesen natürlichen Zutaten kann man Unglaubliches erzeugen. Es gibt sogar einen Gin aus Bio-Edelweiß, der einen besonderen, wunderbaren Geschmack hat. Es gibt so viele Produkte und inspirierende Ideen, die Alta Badia für mich zu einem echten Muss machen.

Am 1. Dezember wurde das Dessert „Movimënt“ in Mailand präsentiert. Was hat es damit auf sich? Hat dich der Gedanke an die Hochebene von Alta Badia dazu inspiriert?

E. Richtig, am 1. Dezember wurde das Dessert „Movimënt“ präsentiert. Davon gibt es jeweils eine Herbst-/Winterversion und eine Frühjahr-/ Sommerversion. Wenn man an ein Dessert für Alta Badia denkt, darf Latschenkieferhonig keinesfalls fehlen. Den haben wir mit gesalzenen Erdnusskrokant kombiniert, dazu natürlich Schokolade, etwas gesalzenes Karamell und Apfelcreme für den Geschmack der Südtiroler Frucht schlechthin. All diese Zutaten bringen die einzigartigen Aromen und den Geschmack der Dolomiten voll zur Geltung. Ich arbeite bereits an der Sommerversion...

Du bist für deine fantastischen Schokoladekreationen bekannt. Welche magst du besonders bzw. welches ist dein Lieblingsdessert? E. Unter meinen vielen Schokokreationen eine auszuwählen ist unmöglich, ich liebe sie alle. Ich liebe alles, was gut ist. Ich arbeite gern an besonderen Formen, Torten und Kuchen, aber auch einfachen, gut gemachten Keksen und Pralinen. Wenn ich mich entscheiden müsste, dann vielleicht Pralinen: Eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion, verpackt in 8/10 g Schokolade, ist unschlagbar. Meine Pralinen sind für mich meine kleinen Juwelen. Mit 8 Gramm schafft man sogar 4/5 Schichten, und wenn man jede davon in Kombination mit leichter Säure, Schokolade, Früchten und Gewürzen schmeckt, finde ich das unheimlich befriedigend.

Dein Reich ist die Via Anfossi in Mailand, und du präsentierst Jahr für Jahr wunderbare Neuheiten – zuletzt sogar eine Eisdiele. Was steht als nächstes auf dem Programm? Wirst du weiterhin im Fernsehen auftreten und Bücher schreiben?

E. Die Via Anfossi 10 ist unser Reich, aber wir haben auch die Konditorei in der Via Anfossi 19, die Frau Knam vor genau einem Jahr eröffnet hat. Sie ist ein wahrer Star der Konditorei – Alessandra macht all die Dinge, die ich nicht mache: Windbeutel, Cannoncini, Mignons, Macarons, Gelees und gut 25 verschiedene Pralinensorten, die zur großen Freude aller Reisenden bis zu zwei Monate bei Raumtemperatur aufbewahrt werden können. In meinem Betrieb hingegen entstehen andere Produkte, deshalb sage ich immer, dass sich unser süßes Angebot ergänzt. Im Fernsehen werden wir bis Juni mit „La Dolceria“ in der Sendung „I Fatti Vostri“ von Michele Guardì auf RAI 2 zu sehen sein. „Bake Off Italia“ mit Benedetta Parodi ist kürzlich auf Real Time zu Ende gegangen und war ein voller Erfolg. Wir sollten bald erfahren, ob wir nächstes Jahr mit der elften Ausgabe wieder am Start sein werden. Frau Knam schreibt außerdem gerade ihr eigenes Rezeptbuch, und ich habe auch so einiges vor. Ich kann nur sagen, dass 2023 ein Jahr voller Neuigkeiten und interessanter Veränderungen sein wird. Bleiben Sie also dran – vor allem, weil diese Zusammenarbeit mit „Movimënt“ noch viel Gutes und viel Freude bringen dürfte!

EN Hi Ernst. What do you love most about Alta Badia? And why did you and your family choose this particular place for your holidays?

E. The thing I love most about Alta Badia is most certainly the tranquillity, but countryside and nature also remind me of my home near Lake Constance in Germany. I like the clean air that you breathe here, and the fact that you can walk for hours without meeting anybody. It fills me with an incredible sense of peace. I can also create new recipes when I’m in Alta Badia. It is the perfect place to recharge my batteries and spend time with my family in peace, far from the public eye. Let’s just say that I’m more than happy to make the 4-hour journey from Milan to get here.

Nature is a source of inspiration: Have you ever made a dessert with the Dolomites in mind?

E. The Dolomites are a magical place that always fills me with new inspiration. All you need to do is walk in the forest, smell the scents of nature, and ideas just appear of their own accord. For example, I have just created a dessert inspired by the heart of Alta Badia - “Movimënt.” When we think of these places, and of Alto Adige, outstanding products instantly spring to mind, including apples, pears, apricots, honey and an infinite variety of aromatic herbs. All of these ingredients can be used to make incredible recipes. They’ve even made a gin using organic edelweiss, an absolutely wonderful, one-off gin. You can find endless incredible products and sparks of inspiration which, for me, make Alto Adige an indispensable place.

On 1 December, the “Movimënt” dessert was presented in Milan. What is it, exactly? When creating it, were you inspired by any particular moments you have spent on the mountain plateaus of Alta Badia?

E. Yes, the wonderful presentation of the “Movimënt” dessert was held on the first of December, a creation in two variants and two seasonalities: One autumn/winter version, and one spring/summer version. When you think of a dessert for Alta Badia you immediately think of mountain pine honey, an absolutely essential ingredient. To this we added a salted peanut brittle to bring out the taste, chocolate, which is always a must, salted caramel, and a heart of apple patè to express the taste of fruit from Alto Adige. All of these ingredients have the power to evoke the flavours and the unique taste of the Dolomites instantaneously. I’m working on the summer version at the moment...

You make fabulous chocolate creations. But which is your favourite, or rather, what is your favourite dessert?

E. It’s true - I make so many chocolate creations that it’s impossible to choose just one, I love them all. I love everything that’s good; I like creating sculptures and cakes, but even simple biscuits or chocolate pralines, if they’re made well. If I have to choose one, maybe it would be chocolate pralines, because creating an explosion of taste encapsulated in a shell of 8 to 10 grammes is an unbeatable sensation. I call them miniature jewels. You can create up to 4 or 5 layers with just 8 grammes, and tasting the flavour of each one, with its acidity, chocolate, fruit, and spices, fills me with endless satisfaction.

Via Anfossi in Milano is your kingdom, and every year you present wonderful new features, the most recent of which is a gelateria. What are your upcoming projects? Will we still be seeing you on the TV and in book shops?

E. Via Anfossi 10 is our kingdom, but we also have the shop in di Via Anfossi 19 where, exactly one year ago, Frau Knam opened her pâtisserie. It has gone on to become the true “pink lady” of pastry. Frau Knam creates all the things that I don’t: cream puffs, cannoncini, mignons, macarons, jellies and an array of 25 different types of chocolate pralines - which, to the delight of travellers, can be stored out of the fridge for up to two months. In my shop we make different things, which is why I always say we are “complementary” and round off each other’s array of desserts. On television, you’ll see us together until June with our “La Dolceria” slot on Michele Guardì’s historic RAI2 programme, “I Fatti Vostri.” Bake Off Italia, hosted by Benedetta Parodi has just ended on Real Time and has been a roaring success. We’ll find out soon if we’ll be back next year with the eleventh edition. Frau Knam is writing a book of her own with countless mouthwatering recipes, and I have a few things on the cards myself. For now, all I can say is that 2023 will be a year filled with innovations and interesting changes. So, stay tuned - particularly because this team-up with "Movimënt" is going to bring a host of wonderful things, and a lot of satisfaction.

In the silence of the night, the snowcats, so called gattisti, spend hours aboard their vehicles, in all weather conditions, to make a simple track a masterpiece. You want to find out how they do it and what their secret is? From this year, you can discover how with your own eyes by getting on board with them. After closing time, a fantastic adventure between the silence of the slopes, in direct contact with nocturnal nature. An experience to spend alone or in the company of your loved one, while the snowcats show you all the secrets of this imposing and elegant machine that caresses the snow.

On your return, you can toast with a glass of South Tyrolean sparkling wine at the Movi Family Apart-Hotel di Corvara in Corvara.

IT Sciare su pista ancora vergine, prima di tutti gli altri, è un’esperienza unica. Se a farlo si è nel cuore delle Dolomiti Patrimonio Mondiale UNESCO, sulle nevi dell’Alta Badia, e sulla pista Gran Risa, dove ogni anno si sfidano i migliori atleti di Coppa del Mondo di sci alpino, l’esperienza diventa ancora più accattivante.

Bun de Gran Risa, dopo il grande successo del 2022, ritorna con i suoi appuntamenti mattutini settimanali. Ogni giovedì, dal 16 febbraio al 9 marzo, i partecipanti al Bun de Gran Risa potranno allacciare gli sci già alle ore 7.00, prima dell’apertura ufficiale degli impianti di risalita, prevista per le ore 8.30. L’impianto Piz La Ila, apre i battenti già all’alba per dare la possibilità ai fortunati sciatori, di vedere sorgere il sole a 2000m e di sciare sulla pista Gran Risa, perfettamente preparata nella notte dai numerosi gatti delle nevi.

Il gruppo, di massimo 15 persone, verrà accompagnato da due maestri di sci della Scuola Sci & Snowboard La Villa. Si inizierà la giornata con un leggero riscaldamento e un giro di ricognizione sulla pista Gran Risa, dove dal 1985 si svolgono durante l’ultimo fine settimana prima di Natale, le gare maschili, valide per la Coppa del Mondo di Sci Alpino. Oltre a dare consigli su come sciare, i maestri di sci spiegheranno come viene preparata e barrata la pista di gara durante i week end di Coppa del Mondo. Durante la seconda discesa i partecipanti impareranno invece come si effettua la partenza perfetta dal cancelletto di partenza, oltre ad avere la possibilità di fare un breve slalom tra i pali sull’ultimo tratto della pista e portare a casa il diploma e le fotografie di questa esclusiva esperienza.

Per partecipare basta iscriversi presso uno degli uffici turistici dell’Alta Badia entro le ore 17.00 del giorno precedente all’evento. Obbligatorio essere già dotati di Skipass.

Die Gruppe von maximal 15 Personen wird von zwei Skilehrern der Ski & Snowboardschule La Villa begleitet. Der Tag beginnt mit einem leichten Aufwärmen und einer Erkundungsfahrt auf der Gran Risa, wo seit 1985 am letzten Wochenende vor Weihnachten die Herrenrennen für den Alpinen Skiweltcup ausgetragen werden. Die Skilehrer geben Tipps zum Skifahreen und erklären, wie die Rennstrecke an den Weltcup-Wochenenden präpariert und abgesperrt wird. Bei der zweiten Abfahrt lernen die Teilnehmer, wie der perfekte Start aus dem Startgate erfolgt. Außerdem haben sie die Möglichkeit, auf dem letzten Pistenabschnitt einen kurzen Slalom zu fahren und das Diplom und die Fotos dieses exklusiven Erlebnisses mit nach Hause zu nehmen.

Für Ihre Teilnahme an diesem Event brauchen Sie sich nur am Vortag bis 17 Uhr in einem der Tourismusbüros in Alta Badia anzumelden. Der Besitz eines Skipasses ist zwingend erforderlich.

EN Skiing on a fresh track, before everyone else, is a unique experience. If you do this in the heart of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, on the snows of Alta Badia and on the Gran Risa slope, where every year the best alpine skiers in the world compete, the experience becomes even more captivating.

Bun de Gran Risa, after last season’s great success, returns with its weekly morning schedule. Every Thursday, from 16 February to 9 March, participants in the Bun de Gran Risa will be able to fasten their skis as early as 7.00 am, before the official opening of the ski lifts, scheduled for 8.30 am. The Piz La Ila facility opens its doors at dawn to give lucky skiers the chance to see the sun rise at 2000m and to ski on the Gran Risa slope, perfectly prepared the night before by the numerous snowcats. The group maximum 15 people will be accompanied by two ski instructors from the La Villa Ski & Snowboard School. Für Erwachsene eine ausgesprochen romantische Gelegenheit, die Rodelbahn mit ihrer Familie kennen zu lernen. Für die Kinder eine besondere und magische Nacht, in der Träume wahr werden können. Alle aufsteigen und sich begeistern lassen von dieser einzigartigen Route, umgeben von der Natur in ihrer geheimnisvollen nächtlichen Pracht, beleuchtet von tausenden glitzernden Sternen und vom Mond. Die Kabinenbahn Piz Sorega ist von 19.30 bis 22.30 in Betrieb und ermöglicht eine bequeme Auffahrt. An der Kasse im Tal können Einzelfahrten oder eine Karte für 6 oder 10 Fahrten gekauft werden. Wer keinen Schlitten hat, kann sich direkt im Tal bei den örtlichen Verleihern einen ausleihen.

EN Great news for lovers of emotions on the snow. Four night events, one in January and three in February on the sledding track "Trù Liösa Foram", which for the occasion will be illuminated along the 3.5 kilometres track that leads from Monte del Piz Sorega to the village of San Cassiano. It will be possible to buy the individual ascents, or a special 6 or 10 ride card, at the ticket office. For those without sleds it will be possible to rent one directly down at various rental points in the area.

ITTecnica, uno dei leader mondiali nel settore degli scarponi da sci, presenta Recycle Your Boots, un progetto di economia circolare che ha l’ambizione di contribuire a proteggere il pianeta trasformando i vecchi scarponi usati in materie di seconda generazione, con un risparmio di risorse energetiche e una riduzione delle emissioni di CO2.

“L’idea è piuttosto semplice - spiega Maurizio Priano, marketing and brand manager Blizzard-Tecnica - A ogni sciatore che vuole comprare un nuovo paio di scarponi da sci Tecnica, daremo la possibilità di restituire in negozio i suoi vecchi scarponi, di qualunque marca siano. Tecnica si occuperà di riciclarli con un processo trasparente e sostenibile.”

Nella realtà, per realizzare la semplice idea alla base del progetto Recycle Your Boots è stato necessario organizzare un processo innovativo e complesso. Per ritirare, trasportare e riciclare i vecchi scarponi da sci in plastica e trasformarli in materie rigenerate, Tecnica ha dovuto mettere a punto un sofisticato sistema che unisce artigianalità e lavorazioni ad alta tecnologia, con il supporto del mondo accademico per prevedere, monitorare e misurare la reale efficacia del progetto. Tuttavia, l’elemento critico per il successo sarà la mobilitazione della comunità degli sciatori: negozianti e acquirenti.

DE Mit dem "Recycle Your Boots" Projekt startet der italienische Skischuhhersteller Tecnica eine Initiative gemeinsam mit dem Handel, um den Kreislauf in der Skischuhindustrie anzustoßen. Es ist ein neuartiges Kreislaufwirtschaftsprojekt, das dazu beitragen soll, den Planeten zu schützen, indem gebrauchte Skischuhe zu Sekundärrohstoffen recycelt, Ressourcen gespart und CO2-Emissionen reduziert werden.

„Die Idee ist ganz einfach“, erklärt Maurizio Priano, Marketing- und Brandmanager von Blizzard & Tecnica. „Wir wollen jedem Skifahrer, der ein neues Paar Tecnica Skischuhe kaufen möchte, die Möglichkeit geben, seine alten Schuhe zurückzugeben, egal von welcher Marke. Tecnica wird das alte Paar in einem transparenten und nachhaltigen Prozess recyceln.“

Hinter der scheinbar einfachen „Recycle Your Boots“ Idee steckt in Wirklichkeit ein komplexer und aufwändiger Prozess. Um alte Skischuhe zu sammeln, abzutransportieren und zu einem Sekundärrohstoff zu recyceln, arbeitet Tecnica mit verschiedenen strategischen Partnern zusammen. Die wichtigsten Akteure für den Erfolg des Projekts stehen aber ganz klar fest: Konsumenten und Sportfachhändler.

EN Tecnica, the leading international ski boot manufacturer based in Italy, is now launching its Recycle Your Boots initiative. Their circular economy project aims to contribute to protecting the planet by recycling used ski boots into secondary raw materials, thereby saving resources and reducing CO2 emissions.

“The idea is pretty simple,” explains Maurizio Priano, marketing and brand manager Blizzard-Tecnica. “We make it possible for skiers who want a new pair of Tecnica ski boots to return their old ones – from any brand. Tecnica will then recycle their old pair in a transparent and sustainable process.”

What seems like a simple idea behind the Recycle Your Boots project is actually based on a complex and innovative process. In order to collect, transport and recycle old plastic ski boots and make them into reusable secondary raw materials, Tecnica has set up a sophisticated system that combines craftsmanship and manufacturing expertise, and also used the help of academic research institutes to predict, monitor and measure the effectiveness of the project. However, the most critical aspect will be mobilizing the ski community, retailers, and consumers.

I vecchi scarponi da sci verranno ritirati singolarmente in negozio e trasportati in spedizioni ottimizzate per ridurre le emissioni dalla società Fercam di Bolzano, che dispone di un parco mezzi a ridotto impatto ambientale e adotterà per queste spedizioni specifiche misure di contabilizzazione, neutralizzazione e compensazione delle emissioni di CO2. Una volta a destinazione, l’azienda italiana Fecam si occuperà di separare le scarpette interne e di smontare ogni scarpone nelle sue singole componenti plastiche e metalliche. Tutte le parti verranno quindi inviate ai vicini impianti di Laprima Plastics, un’azienda specializzata che li trasformerà in materie di seconda generazione, come granuli di plastica e pezzi di alluminio, pronti per essere fusi e riutilizzati nella produzione industriale. Anche le scarpette verranno tritate per essere utilizzate come nuove imbottiture.

“Siamo all’inizio di un nuovo modo di concepire gli scarponi da sci e il loro ciclo di vita - continua Giorgio Grandin - Per noi Recycle Your Boots non è una risposta definitiva, ma un cantiere permanente di innovazione.”

Alte Skischuhe werden bei Händlern gesammelt und von Fercam, einem Logistikunternehmen mit Sitz in Bozen, in größeren Mengen weitertransportiert. Die CO2-Emissionen, die durch die Transporte entstehen, werden zu 100 % kompensiert. Die Firma Fecam in Italien zerlegt die Skischuhe dann in ihre Einzelteile. Dabei wird das Innenfutter entfernt und die Kunststoffelemente von den Metallteilen getrennt. Alle Teile werden dann zum nahegelegenen Werk von Laprima Plastics transportiert und dort in Sekundärrohstoffe umgewandelt, die in der industriellen Produktion wiederverwendet werden. Auch die Innenschuhe werden recycelt und für die neue Polsterung verwendet.

„Wir stehen am Anfang einer neuen Art und Weise, Skischuhe und ihren Lebenszyklus zu konzipieren“, fährt Giorgio Grandin fort, „Recycle Your Boots ist keine endgültige Antwort, noch nicht, aber ein permanenter Ort der Innovation.“

EN “Recycle Your Boots is more than just a recycling project, it’s a new business model,” declares Giorgio Grandin, head of innovation Tecnica Group. “For the first time, we are not simply creating and selling a product, but establishing a fully-integrated sustainable process: production, shipping, consumer use and recycling.”

Old ski boots will be collected by retailers and transported in smart batches to reduce emissions by Fercam, a company based in Bolzano, Italy. Fercam has a fleet of reduced environmental impact vehicles and will adopt specific CO2 emissions accounting, neutralization, and offsetting measures for the shipments. The old ski boots will be delivered to another Italian company, Fecam, where the liners will be removed, and each boot will be dismantled to separate all plastic and metal components. The individual components will then be transported to the nearby Laprima Plastics plant and transformed into secondary raw materials, such as plastic granules, or salvaged aluminum, ready to be recast and reused in industrial production. The liners will also be shredded to make new wadding.

“We are heralding a new approach to ski boots and their lifecycle,” continues Giorgio Grandin. “Recycle Your Boots is not the definitive answer – not yet – but it’s a permanent source of innovation.”

Kettmeir's Metodo Classico is naturally elegant, instinctively refined and unfolds an intense aroma and delicious freshness from the very first taste. The high altitudes of the South Tyrolean region, the cold north winds meeting the warm currents of the Mediterranean and the pronounced temperature fluctuations, create the ideal conditions for the grapes of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.

The range spans four vintages in the following versions: Extra Brut Riserva 1919, Pas Dosé, Athesis Brut Rosé and Athesis Brut, which are recognised by national and international juries every year and win multiple awards.

The Riserva 1919 has confirmed "Tre Bicchieri" Gambero Rosso for five years and has been awarded the "Cinque Grappoli" Bibenda, the "Cinque Sfere" Sparkle and the "Corona" Vinibuoni d'Italia in the 2023 guidebooks.

The Dolomiti Superski App is a holiday feature that optimises your experience on the slopes. Simply download it onto your phone so you’ll always know where you are. The app uses GPS to show you where you are on a map, helping you find your way. You can use the app to plan and input a detailed route, and check the opening hours of the list facilities and find out exactly where they are. Webcams in valleys let you check the slope conditions, weather forecast and opening hours of the ski routes between valleys.

Da questi presupposti nasce la tredicesima edizione di Sciare con gusto, evento gastronomico che rende gourmet la stagione invernale in Alta Badia. Il concetto di Sciare con gusto rimane invariato: otto chef stellati saranno abbinati ognuno ad un rifugio sulle piste dell’Alta Badia, per il quale creeranno una ricetta che verrà proposta agli sciatori durante tutta la stagione invernale. Tra gli chef partecipanti a questa edizione, due dei 12 tre stelle Michelin italiani: Norbert Niederkofler, Executive Chef del ristorante St. Hubertus presso l’Hotel Rosa Alpina, abbinato al rifugio Ütia de Bioch e Massimiliano Alajmo, Ristorante Le Calandre, abbinato al rifugio Club Moritzino. Il neo chef stellato locale, Simone Cantafio (Ristorante La Stüa de Michil, Hotel La Perla, 1 stella Michelin) ha realizzato la sua ricetta per il rifugio Ütia I Tablá. Fanno parte dell’iniziativa anche Ciccio Sultano (Duomo Ristorante, 2 stelle Michelin), Antonia Klugmann (Ristorante L’Argine a Vencó, 1 stella Michelin), Alessandro Dal Degan (Ristorante La Tana Gourmet, 1 stella Michelin), Fabrizia Meroi (Ristorante Laite, 1 stella Michelin) e Fulvio Pierangelini (Rocco Forte Hotels), abbinati rispettivamente ai rifugi Ütia Jimmi, Ütia Pralongiá, Ütia L’Tamá, Ütia Lé e Ütia Las Vegas Lodge. L’obiettivo di Sciare con gusto 2022-23 è quello di dare un segnale forte e concreto di solidarietà, a sostegno dei bambini meno fortunati, affetti da malattie incurabili o invalidanti. Quindi, per tutta la prossima stagione invernale, per ogni piatto targato “Sciare con gusto” servito nei rifugi che aderiranno all’iniziativa, verranno devoluti 3,00 euro in beneficenza alle associazioni “La miglior vita possibile” e “Momo”.

SOMMELIER IN PISTA Degustare in due baite diverse una selezione dei migliori vini dell’Alto Adige, ammirando le Dolomiti, Patrimonio Mondiale UNESCO: in Alta Badia si può. Dopo il successo delle scorse edizioni, l’Alta Badia ripropone anche nell’inverno 2022/23 “Sommelier in pista”, con lo scopo di valorizzare il connubio fra lo sci e i prodotti d’eccellenza del territorio. Gli appuntamenti in programma durante tutto l’inverno prevedono favolose sciate sulle piste dell’Alta Badia, abbinate alla degustazione di alcuni tra i più pregiati vini dell’Alto Adige. I partecipanti saranno accompagnati da un maestro di sci oltre che da un sommelier professionista. Il prezzo delle degustazioni, guida sciistica inclusa, è di 40,00€ a persona. Gli eventi sono organizzati in collaborazione con il Consorzio Vini Alto Adige e l’Associazione Sommelier Alto Adige.

Domenica 26 marzo 2023, l’Alta Badia porta i migliori vini altoatesini in quota per una degustazione esclusiva, la quale si terrà dalle ore 10 alle ore 15.30, presso i rifugi Piz Arlara, Ütia de Bioch, I Tablá e Pralongiá. Si vuole così concludere in bellezza la stagione invernale, dedicata all’enogastronomia. Il costo del biglietto, acquistabile direttamente presso le quattro baite partecipanti, è di 35,00€ a persona e include la degustazione di tutti i vini presenti. L’evento è organizzato da Alta Badia Brand, in collaborazione con IDM Alto Adige (Innovation Development Marketing) e con il sostegno del Consorzio Vini Alto Adige.

WENN GENUSS EINE FRAGE VON LEGÀMI - VERBUNDENHEIT IST Legàmi ist das italienische Wort für Verbundenheit, Beziehungen, Zusammenhänge und Gleichklänge, zwischen Menschen, Orten, Erinnerungen und Werten, aber auch im Sinne von Antrieb und Wunsch, Emotionen gemeinsam im Herzen der Südtrioler Dolomiten UNESCO Welterbe zu erleben. Dies ist der Ausgangspunkt für die 13. Ausgabe von Skifahren mit Genuss, eine kulinarische Initiative, welche den Winter in Alta Badia zu einer Gourmet-Skisaison werden lässt. Das Konzept der Initiative bleibt unverändert: Acht Sternenköchen wird jeweils eine Berghütte auf den Pisten in Alta Badia zugeteilt, für die sie ein Rezept kreieren, das den Skifahrern in der Wintersaison angeboten wird. Zu den teilnehmenden Gourmetköchen gehören heuer zwei der zwölf drei Michelin Sterne Köche Italiens: Norbert Niederkofler, Executive Chef des Restaurants St. Hubertus im Hotel Rosa Alpina, gepaart mit der Berghütte Ütia de Bioch und Massimiliano Alajmo, Restaurant Le Calandre, gepaart mit der Hütte Club Moritzino. Nach dem Erfolg der vorherigen Auflagen bietet Alta Badia im Winter 2022/23 erneut “Sommeliers auf der Piste” an. Ziel dieser Initiative ist es, die Kombination von Skifahren und exzellenten lokalen Produkten aufzuwerten. Die während des ganzen Winters geplanten Angebote sehen eine Paarung von traumhaften Abfahrten auf den Pisten von Alta Badia mit der Verkostung einiger Südtiroler Spitzenweine vor. Begleitet werden die Teilnehmer von einem Skilehrer und einem professionellen Sommelier. Der Preis für die Verkostungen inklusive Skiguide beträgt 40,00 € pro Person. Die Events werden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Konsortium Südtirol Wein und der Sommeliervereinigung Südtirol organisiert.

Mit dieser Verkostung soll das Ende der kulinarischen Wintersaison gefeiert werden. WHEN TASTE IS A MATTER OF LEGÀMI - RELATIONS Legàmi in Italian means connections, ties, bonds and harmony between and among people, places, memories, and values but also the drive and desire to share emotions in the absolute freedom that the landscape of the Dolomites offers. This is the basis for the thirteenth edition of A taste for skiing, the gastronomy event that has been making the winter season in Alta Badia a gourmet highlight. The concept of this initiative remains the same: each of the eight Michelin-starred chefs will be assigned to a mountain hut on the slopes of Alta Badia, creating a recipe that will be offered to skiers throughout the winter season. Among the participant chefs this year there are two of twelve three Michelin starred chefs: Norbert Niederkofler Executive Chef at Restaurtant St. Hubertus of Hotel Rosa Alpina, paired with the mountain hut Ütia de Bioch and Massimiliano Alajmo, restaurant Le Calandre, paired with the mountain hut Club Moritzino. Scivoli, liane, giochi d’acqua e una zona dedicata agli amanti del fitness con 4 attrezzi dove allenare addominali, bicipiti quadricipiti e trovare la forma fisica ideale.

Un percorso dove scoprire il vero volto delle Dolomiti e i protagonisti delle leggende che le popolano da millenni. Dal comodo punto panoramico posizionato ai piedi della montagna sarà possibile osservare la roccia e le sue sfumature in modo semplice e accurato, fino a riconoscere l’immagine di un personaggio leggendario e disegnarlo. Scendendo a piedi dal Vallon, ci si può fermare al laghetto “Lech de Boè”, un bacino naturale circondato da pareti rocciose, un piccolo angolo di paradiso immerso nel massiccio del Sella.

Accanto al Rifugio Piz Boè Alpine Lounge scopri il mini parco “DOLOMITI” con tante informazioni riguardanti la storia, le rocce e la loro conformazione unica al mondo. Dalla zona del Vallon partono delle bellissime vie ferrate con vari gradi di difficoltà e pareti da arrampicare.

DE Bei diesem Parcours entdecken Sie das wahre Gesicht der Dolomiten und die Darsteller ihrer Legenden, die sie seit Tausenden von Jahren bewohnen. From three convenient viewpoints positioned at the foot of the mountain you can take your time looking at the rock and its nuances, to pick out the image of a legendary character.

Walking down from the Vallon, we stop at the little “Lech de Boè” lake, a natural basin surrounded by rocky walls, a small corner of paradise in the Sella Group.

Discover the “DOLOMITI” mini-park next to the Piz Boè Alpine Lounge mountain hut, with lots of information about the history, the rocks, and their unique formations.

From the Vallon area, there are beautiful via ferrata routes with varying degrees of difficulty and walls to climb.

COL ALTO CORVARA

IT Partendo da Corvara, utilizza la cabinovia del Col Alto per raggiungere i parchi Movimënt del Piz La Ila e del Piz Sorega, oltre che il parco di Spaghettino al Pralongià. Una volta arrivato in quota infatti, percorrendo la strada di collegamento alla seggiovia Braia Fraida, potrai godere di una splendida vista su tutte le Dolomiti. Un percorso circondato da prati e boschi, percorribile sia a piedi che in bicicletta, che ti farà vivere tutta la bellezza dell’Alta Badia.

DE Von Corvara aus gelangen Sie mit der Kabinenbahn Col Alto zu den Movimënt Parks Piz La Ila und Piz Sorega sowie zum Spaghettino Park auf Pralongià. Oben angekommen, können Sie auf der Straße, die zum Sessellift Braia Fraida führt, eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Dolomiten genießen. PARK BIKE BEATS TRAILS

IT Una delle principali motivazioni per visitare Movimënt riguarda le mountain bike e le e-bike, regine dell’altopiano grazie ai percorsi dedicati e disegnati solo per le due ruote. Per chi vuole divertimento assicurato, con famiglia e amici, ci sono i bike trails Bike Beats: si tratta di discese “flow”, scorrevoli, meno impegnative tecnicamente di un downhill. Si parte dalla cima del Piz Sorega accanto all’arrivo della cabinovia. A sinistra il più tecnico e difficile Trail Cör (cuore), una serpentina emozionante e adrenalinica, mentre a destra ci si lancia lungo il Trail Ödli (occhi in ladino), facile e panoramico, adatto anche ai meno esperti. Dalla loro unione a metà pendio nasce il Trail Avëna (vene), di media difficoltà che scende fino al fondovalle nel paese di San Cassiano. Sempre a Piz Sorega parte il Trail Mans (mani), che prosegue tra curve e paraboliche sino alla seggiovia La Fraina posizionata tra Piz Sorega e Piz La Ila. Due FotoTrap sono pronte ad immortalare il passaggio di tutti i bikers, che a valle della cabinovia Piz Sorega potranno scaricare le loro immagini e acrobazie preferite. Prima di godersi le discese sui trails, si consiglia qualche giro preparatorio sul circuito di pumptrack a monte del Piz Sorega, che può essere percorso con mountain bike, e-bike e perfino con pattini e skate. Fle trail. scende da Pralongià l’ultimo - per ora - dei Bike Beats: Movimënt inaugura quest’estate un tracciato che si sviluppa nei prati aperti scendendo dal Pralongià. Fle - in ladino, la parola che descrive il respiro profondo - è di difficoltà medio-semplice, lungo ca. 3,5 chilometri con dislivello pari a 300 metri, offre lunghe passerelle in legno e una vista mozzafiato verso la splendida Marmolada e il gruppo del Sella, fino alla stazione a valle della seggiovia Pralongià, oppure si può proseguire in direzione Campolongo.

Wer mit Familie und Freunden Spaß haben will, kann sich auf die Bike Beats begeben: das sind fließende Abfahrten, die technisch weniger anspruchsvoll sind als ein Downhill. Sie beginnen auf dem Gipfel des Piz Sorega neben der Ankunftsstelle der Seilbahn. Auf der linken Seite befindet sich der technischere und schwierigere Trail Cör (Herz), eine aufregende und adrenalinfördernde Serpentine, während auf der rechten Seite der einfache und landschaftlich reizvolle Trail Ödli (Augen auf Ladinisch) liegt, der auch für weniger Geübte geeignet ist. Von ihrem Zusammenschluss auf halber Höhe des Hangs führt der mittelschwere Weg Avëna (Adern) hinunter zur Talsohle im Dorf San Cassiano. Ebenfalls am Piz Sorega beginnt der Trail Mans (Hände), der über Kurven und Parabeln zum Sessellift La Fraina zwischen Piz Sorega und Piz La Ila führt. Zwei FotoTrap sind bereit, die Passage aller Biker zu verewigen, die stromabwärts von der Piz Sorega Seilbahn in der Lage sein werden, ihre Lieblingsbilder und Stunts herunterzuladen. One of the main motivations for visiting Movimënt concerns mountain bikes and e-bikes, protagonists of the plateau thanks to trails dedicated and designed just for two wheels. For those after guaranteed fun, with family and friends, there are the Bike Beats bike trails: these are smooth “flow trails”, which are less technically challenging than conventional downhills. You begin at the summit of Piz Sorega next to the cable car arrival station. To the left, the most technical and difficult Cör (heart) Trail, an exciting, adrenalin-filled winding route, while to the right, you launch yourself on the Ödli (“eyes” in Ladin) Trail, easy and panoramic, suitable for the less expert as well. From their joining halfway down the slope, the medium-difficulty Avëna (veins) Trail starts, descending to the valley floor in the town of San Cassiano. Fle - in Ladin, the word describes a deep breath - is mediumeasy in difficulty, along approximately 3,5 kilometres with an altitude difference of 300 metres, and offers long wooden bridges with breath-taking views towards the amazing Marmolada and the Sella group, until the station at the bottom of the Pralongià chairlift, or you can continue in the Campolongo direction.
