WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE LOOKING TO TRANSFER TO THE MOUNT “A piece of advice I would give to someone looking to transfer to the Mount, is to be open to all help and don't be scared to ask questions. Also, try to join as many organizations as possible—it really helps you adapt and be a part of the Mount Community.”

How will that happen? The Mount believes in empowering students to become capable, compassionate, critical thinkers and to apply that invaluable ability to improving our shared world. This has been a core principle of the Mount since we were founded by the Sisters of Charity over 100 years ago. It’s responsible for our closeknit community, rooted in academic excellence. Our community believes in the integration of life and learning—one that values respect and concern for all persons, cultures, and beliefs—and that’s of service to others. It’s by instilling qualities like these that the Mount not only endures but thrives, creating opportunities for our graduates to succeed—whether their aspirations are local, national, or global.

Simply put, at Mount St. Joseph University, we think you’ll find the ideal college experience filled with transformative learning, lifelong connections, personal fulfillment, and career opportunity. This is where “up” begins.
