There are Different Kinds of Cold Rebekah Balick There’s coming out of the ocean when there’s a breeze blowing onto your wet skin cold. There’s stepping out of your house in your pajamas in the early morning to see the snow cold. There’s eating ice cream outside with friends on autumn nights and you forgot to bring a jacket cold. There’s sledding outside for hours in winter and you have your gloves on, but your hands are still numb cold. There’s sliding out from under your comforter and the room is actually warm but compared to the covers it’s chilly cold. —and then there’s the cold I feel whenever I see you.
