Move over Manolo, Sultan Al Darmaki is set to steal your King of Footwear title. The Emirati designer launched his line, Darmaki, after finding inspiration from meeting his ‘muse’, Princess Fatima Al-Qu’aiti, a graduate and international corporate lawyer at an Abu Dhabi art exhibition two years ago. “Her confidence, ambition, eye for detail, and love for art in its many forms epitomises the woman I want to design for,” he explains. “The twist of exotic roots is perfectly encapsulated by my ‘Arabesque’ designs.” Following the philosophy that a woman’s personality is revealed in her shoes, Sultan is “inspired
