I always imagined having my work incorporated into a creative, bohemian yet minimalistic space. I did my work with the vision of it being part of a great interior and adding value to a room. I will think about the aesthetic point of view. In order for my work to be interesting in its sense I wanted it to be simple as influenced by its aspiring environment. I went back to the basics by creating artworks that were simple and easy on the eye and yet be open for interpretation. My theme automatically became love because of the passion I have for Interior design, art, design and simplicity.

well as perception of love. There’s no real definition of love because of the different perceptions we all conform to. I am merely interpreting it in my own way.

Basically I begin to think of the cliches on love and then I derive a connotation on that cliche. I call my series “The Abstract & The Simple.�. The bstract being love and the simple being the style of my illustrations (which includes lines and four colours) and minimalistic interior design that I get my inspiration from.

e all have our own meaning of love because it is a personal feeling. In school I knew it as an abstract noun and I know it to be a simple feeling that becomes complicated over time because of different aspects and experiences

This could be about my first love but this is just about this illustration being my first successfull portrait with colour. I did this with love one can say. Because of this illustration.

hey say love is blind. Could this be because we can’t see the “beauty” that grows within a person? We tend to not see a person for what they are but rather the idea we have of them. Some times we feel as if we are dragged under water because of many factors that contribute to the idea of love that we can’t stand it altogether that we feel suffocated.

“Some things are just simple as they are, nothing deep about them.�

eauty is in the eye of the beholder. Love alone is not enough because we have to develop and maintain ourselves in order for others to be able to fall inlove with us even way before they find out who we are internally. as much as a persons personality matters how they look gives us a perception of a person.

ove is addictive as well as toxic. When you lose someone you had a very close connection and bond with, you end up becoming so lonely because you are so used to having someone special. You start to think of all the things you’ve done for them. At that moment you feel as if you gave away too much.

You end up trying to bond with anyone or not want to bond with anyone because in search of a certain feeling.
