¿CÓMO SE COMPRA EN SUBASTA? ¡BIENVENIDO! Usted está entrando al mundo de las subastas, un mundo donde es emocionante adquirir Antigüedades, Arte, Joyas, Muebles y muchas cosas más. Algunas personas creen que la subasta es un proceso complicado... ¡sorpresa! entrar a comprar a una subasta es muy sencillo y no se requiere invitación, inscripción, ni nada de eso. Únicamente acuda, disfrute el momento y dese el placer de llevarse eso que tanto le gusta. Aquí le damos unos consejos para que lo disfrute desde la primera vez...

¿LA SUBASTA ESTÁ ABIERTA AL PÚBLICO? Sí, la subasta es un evento público y gratuito. Usted es bienvenido sin necesidad de invitación, incluso si no está seguro de que adquirirá un lote. (Lote: cualquiera de las piezas o conjunto de piezas que se subastarán, tiene un número y aparece en el catálogo correspondiente).

¿QUÉ DEBO HACER ANTES DE LA SUBASTA? Usted puede asistir antes de la subasta a la exposición, donde podrá ver las piezas que se van a subastar. Es muy recomendable comprar el catálogo, porque en él se encuentra la descripción detallada y fotos de cada lote. El día de la subasta, al registrarse en la recepción le entregarán un número de paleta para hacer posturas; es decir, una paleta de plástico con un número que será levantada cada vez que usted quiera ofrecer una cantidad para adquirir un lote. En el registro se le solicitará su nombre, dirección y un depósito en garantía para sus compras (en efectivo o tarjeta).

¿QUÉ SIGNIFICAN LOS PRECIOS ESTIMADOS QUE APARECEN EN EL CATÁLOGO? Generalmente el catálogo muestra dos precios: un estimado bajo y uno alto. precio mínimo) y puede venderse por arriba del estimado alto en el momento de la subasta.

¿CÓMO FUNCIONA LA SUBASTA? Cuando salga a remate el lote que usted desea adquirir, simplemente levante la paleta que le fue asignada cuando el subastador proponga el precio de venta en subasta y usted esté de acuerdo con dicha cantidad. El subastador continuará elevando el precio mientras haya personas que sigan ofreciendo por el mismo lote. El último precio indicado por el subastador al dejar caer el martillo es el precio de martillo, y esa es la cantidad más la comisión (20%), más el IVA de la comisión, lo que usted pagará por el lote adquirido.

¿CÓMO SE COMPRA EN SUBASTA SIN ESTAR PRESENTE EN EL SALÓN? ¿SE PUEDEN HACER OFERTAS SIN ASISTIR AL SALÓN DE SUBASTAS? Sí, existen dos sencillas formas de hacer ofertas en ausencia:

Usted llena el formato de ofertas en ausencia, indica el número de lote o lotes que desea, así como la oferta máxima que quiere hacer por cada uno de ellos. Así, uno de nuestros representantes estará haciendo las ofertas en su nombre y representación.

Al momento que el lote salga a remate, uno de nuestros representantes se comunicará con usted y así estará pasando sus ofertas al subastador.

OFERTAS EN AUSENCIA El personal autorizado por Morton podrá hacer efectivas las pujas en representación de los licitadores, sin ningún cargo para el licitador y de acuerdo a las siguientes reglas: 1. El licitador podrá hacer llegar su postura a Morton hasta cuatro horas antes de cel-

LA SUBASTA 1. Al iniciar la subasta, el martillero indicará el lote a ser subastado, ya sea por medio del número que corresponda de acuerdo al catálogo de la Subasta o dando lectura a la descripción, las características y el precio de salida. 2. “En las instalaciones de Jakobsen, grandes bandas de tela o hule de colores se colocan en las paredes y techos de la galería utilizando acero e imanes, creando así figuras geométricas precisas. En ocasiones, la ar tista ilumina estos espacios con luces fluorescentes y filtros de colores, resaltando la naturaleza inextricable de su obra y los espacios que la contienen. Las instalaciones de Jakobsen son reducidas a sus elementos fundamentales, dejando sólo lo necesario y eliminando las distracciones. Este acercamiento tiene su origen en la infancia de la ar tista y en el trabajo de su padre como diseñador, el cual como ella misma dice ‘ha jugado un papel impor tante en forjar mi entendimiento de las formas y cómo éstas nos afectan, así como de los métodos de trabajo con y en contra de los materiales’. La sensibilidad minimalista escandinava no es meramente una preocupación formal para Jakobsen. “In Jakobsen’s installations, large bands of coloured fabric or rubber are attached to gallery walls and ceilings using steel and magnets, thus creating precise geometric shapes. At times, she lights these spaces with fluorescent lights and filter gels, heightening the inextricability of the works and the spaces that contain them. Jakobsen’s installations are reduced to their fundamental elements, leaving only what is needed and doing away with distraction. This approach is rooted in the ar tist’s upbringing and her father’s work as a designer, which, as she says, ‘has played an impor tant role in shaping my understanding of how forms affect us, and how to work with and against a material’. "Entre las numerosas imágenes reconocibles, asociaciones y asignaciones que sus composiciones despier tan en conexión con nuestra tendencia a la categorización de la historia del ar te -un poco de la poesía de Cy Twombly, un poco del enojo de Arnulf Rainer, un poco de lo revoltoso de Basquiat y un poco del expresionismo abstracto con su relación entre imagen y espacio relacionadas con el observadorun factor irritante hace que su presencia se sienta. "Between the numerous recognizable images, associations and assignations that his compositions awaken in connection with our tendency for ar t historical categorization -a bit of Cy Twombly's poetry, a bit of Arnulf Rainer's anger, a bit of Basquiat's rambunctiousness, a bit of Abstract Expressionism with its viewer-related image-space relationship- an irritating factor makes its presence felt. However, Heinemann's works are not a mixed bag of ar t historical inter textuality, but rather the escalation of abstract drawing, painting and spatial concepts -which come to a head in an objective, yet precisely considered discourse with painting traditions and the basics of creative methodology-. His paintings are based on traces that are scrawled onto the works' surface. However, they do not visualize the emotional state of the ar tist at the moment of his encounter with the canvas, but are simply the expression of his presence. "En el 2012 intenté construir el barco más pequeño que pudiera cargar con el peso de una persona. De este modo, ingenié una manera de navegar a través de grandes cuerpos de agua usando una silla, como si estuviera sentado en el agua. Esto resultó en un performance y posteriormente en una película, que iniciaba en el lago Wesserunsett en Maine, EE.UU. y pasaba por lugares de la costa pacífico de Colombia, Panamá, México y otras ciudades de Estados Unidos. "In 2012 I attempted to build the smallest boat that could hold only one person's weight. As a result, I devised a way to navigate through large bodies of water using a chair, as if I was sitting on water. This became a performance and then a film, which star ted in Lake Wesserunsett in Maine (Nor th East of the USA) and then has travelled to places like the Pacific Coast of Colombia, Panama, Mexico and other cities in the USA.
