STUDENT LIFE

Morningside College’s Student Union, led by President CHRISTIE LEUNG (Laws) during Term 1, represented students on College Committees and advocated on their behalf. In Spring 2020, students elected new Executive and Representative Councils, with WAYNE LEE (Mathematics) as the new Student Union President. Wayne and his team will welcome the incoming first-year students during a virtual Orientation Camp in August 2020. The student-run outdoor group MC Rangers hiked Grass Island (Tap Mun) in September, hosted a scenic cycling event to the Tai Mei Tuk Dam in October, and concluded their fall programming with their first-ever Ma On Shan Camp Hike. After a night of sleeping under the stars, a few brave Morningsiders woke up at the break of dawn to conquer a neighboring peak, just in time to catch a beautifully colourful sunrise.
