The family of Deloris Quissell is selling the following real estate in Moody County, South Dakota:

The City Council of the City of Flandreau, South Dakota, met in regular session on Tuesday, September 2nd at 6:30 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, 1005 W. Elm Avenue, Flandreau, SD.

Mayor Dan Sutton expressed thanks to the county commissioners for agreeing to subsidize the city $35,000 for fiscal year 2026, for ambulance operations.

City Administrator Cohl Turnquist reported that city-wide cleanup will take place on Saturday, September 6th and wood items will be collected. The 2025 chip seal project is expected to take place at the end of September on Bridge and Prospect. The City Park Bike Path is closed this week for repairs and is expected to be open by the weekend of September 6th. Water services will be temporarily shut off in the project area on Wednesday, September 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

New Business: Shane Waterman, with IMEG Engineering, stated that crews have been working on water main items on Crescent Street. H&W Contracting has been working on Prairie Street between Park and Elm Ave. Water Service will be temporary disrupted on Wednesday, September 3rd in the project area. Claflin Excavating is working on grading Park and Wind Street and has made good progress on Wind Street. It is expected that curb and gutter work will begin on Park and Wind Street next week. The next public meeting for project updates is September 10th at 12:00 p.m. at the city office.
