MobileMed Awarded High Honors in Healthcare Quality Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), a federal agency, honors MobileMed with a Gold Quality Leader designation. Bethesda, MD, September 29, 2020:Health Resources and Services Administration has recognized Mobile Medical Care, Inc. (dba MobileMed) with the Gold Quality Leader designation. This award is given to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) that rank among the top 10% of all community health centers across the country for best overall clinical performance. Founded in 1968, MobileMed has been a trusted partner in healthcare for low-income Montgomery County residents working to address their barriers of care access. The organization seeks to provide the highest quality care to its patients in a culturally competent manner. Annually, MobileMed serves over 4,500 low-income Montgomery County residents with primary care, preventative care, access to specialty care, wraparound services, and much more. MobileMed is recognized “One of the Best” small nonprofit organizations in the DC Metropolitan Area by the Catalogue for Philanthropy and is regularly recommended in Bethesda Magazine’s Guide to Giving. Peter F. Lowet, MobileMed’s Executive Director for the past decade, shared his appreciation of this recognition: “We are honored to receive this recognition. The award is a testament to our commitment to quality patient care for the most vulnerable residents in Montgomery County.
