INVESTMENT BY MYWORKWEAR

Based in Telford, MyWorkwear has been supporting businesses across the UK with their bespoke workwear and uniforms requirements for nearly half acentury.

And now the Telford-basedcompany is continuing its recent fast-paced growth thanks to a£190,000 investment.

The investment has enabled the business to implement anew customer relationship management system, update its customer portal and purchase further storage facilities and machinery including three new embroidery machines.

The focus is to ensurethat as the business maintains its growth MyWorkwear can continue to offer the high level of quality and service their customers have come to expect.

Eight new roles have also been created within the company covering marketing, sales, IT and customer services.

James Worthington, co-managing director of MyWorkwear,said: “Overthe last few years we have seen really strong year-on-year growth.

“This has been aresult of the hardwork of our dedicated team and building strong relationships with our customers.

“The investment has enabled us to complete even moreprojects aimed at further growth, allowing us to take on morestaffand more clients.

“Wealready work with thousands of firstclass companies across the UK, from awide range of industries, including well-known brands such as Vimto, McLaren, the National Health Service, OxfordUniversity and the local Ironbridge Museums.

“With this increased capacity we arelooking to support even morecustomers to take pride in their workwear and uniforms.

James added: “Having grown from the small manufacturing company started in Telford in 1976, from apersonal perspective, it is fantastic to give back to the West Midlands community by offering so many new jobs in the area.

“Wewill also be focusing on the future generation of engineers through our involvement in STEM activities in the region and will continue our support for local charities, as well as our national charity,RaceAgainst Dementia.
