Students at Thomas Telford UTChavereceived theirGCSEresults.

Duetothe pandemic,thisisthe first time that students have satexams since2019and theUTC hasreasonto celebrate.

ThePrincipal of theUTC,AvGill, said:“Congratulations to ourYear11 cohort whoreceived theirGCSEresultstoday;ithas been an incredibly toughtwo years.

“Weknow how hard ourwonderful students have workedand we areextremelyproud of them

“Over 70%ofstudentsachievedat least5 GCSEpasses, includingEnglish andMathematics

“There were some standout individualperformances.

“Andre Zacnyinparticularhas achieved exceptionalresults,securing grade9’s in allGCSEsubjects.
