Pupils at Wolverhampton Grammar School arecelebrating afantastic setof GCSE results.

This year’s bumper crop of 9, 8and 7grades(equivalent to A* andA)are testamenttothe fantasticteaching andlearningenvironment on offerat this co-educational independent school whichhas been educatingstudents for over 500yearsand is renownedfor not only itsacademicrigour butalso for offering exceptionalpastoralcareand thelargestrange of extra-curricular activities amongstschools locally.

“Weintroduced business andcomputerscience GCSEs twoyears ago, andwealso currentlyhaveour firstcohortofGCSEdrama students studying forexams next year

“Weare over themoonwiththe achievementofour Year 11 students, taking examsfor the firsttimesince 2019.

“I feel extremely proudofhow hard they have worked fortheir exam success,and of theway my staffherehave supported them throughout.”

This summer,71.6% of GCSE entriesatWolverhamptonGrammar School have been awardedthe most sought after9,8and 7grades(A*/A equivalent), with 85.6% at grades 9to 6(A*-Bequivalent)
