01 THE ANALYSIS
The building heights in this region of East London vary on a drastic level. Canary Wharf dominates the East London skyline, with towers reaching heights between 80 and 240+ meters, casting long shadows over the residences of Poplar and other local communities. The tower types found in Canary Wharf leads to a high average floor to area ratio of around 1.5. On the other hand, Poplar is dominated by buildings ranging from 5 to 20 meters, with some towers reaching heights of no more than 80 meters. These buildings are mainly used Poplar Building Height
BUILDING HEIGHT
