Dear Kingdom Partners and Friends,
I still haven’t gotten used to “the goodness of God.” Psalm 145:9 declares that “the Lord is good to all.” I’m reminded all the time of just how good God is and has been to me. When I think about our quality of life overall, we are truly a blessed people. I, like you, have been the recipient of God’s goodness all my life. You may say how so? Especially when we’ve had some difficult days. Well, the truth is, God is good in difficult times and that’s why you and I have not been destroyed by difficult times. Jeremiah said it best in Lamentations 3:22-23:

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
The fact that we have not been “consumed” should ruminate on the hearts of every believer every day of our lives. Without God’s mercy, not only would we die a physical death, much worse we would be delivered to the pit of hell because of our faulty status without Jesus. But I’m so glad that Jesus died for you and I and as a result we can experience his “salvation” in every area of our lives; spiritually, physically, financially, etc. God is a good God! I wanted to start this letter off by reminding us all to never get used to God’s goodness.
Say “thank you” to God every day, all the time, for both great and small things. I believe that if we practiced thanksgiving more, we would find reasons to have joy in our lives.
We shouldn’t wait until we get a great bonus on the job or have the privilege of acquiring something material to say thank you. We should be muttering thanksgiving for our health, godly relationships, even things like gasoline and toothpaste are appropriate reasons to say, “thank you.” Our heart of thanksgiving is a divine set up for continued favor and peace in our lives.
With all of this said, I personally want to say, “thank you”, to each and every partner and member that was a blessing to me during my pastoral anniversary. Your words and your giving were beyond common and unprecedented and for these things I am grateful. Family, “thank you.” God is the source of all blessings, but the truth is, He often blesses through people. Church family, you are a tremendous blessing to me.

It is inconceivable that one could be cured of something as dreadful and debilitating, and terrible and painful as leprosy, and not be thankful Leprosy was a disease that rendered the afflicted socially and ceremonially unclean, placed in isolation from others, and cut off from family, church and basically, everything These men were as hopeless as a boiling ocean. There was no cure, no solutions, no options, no – way – out, that is, until they met Jesus; and having known of His reputation as a miracle worker with great power, they knew if there was any chance for restoration, He was their only hope. You would think that all ten of them would have come back, fallen at the feet of Jesus and given thanks for their healing and restoration. However, ten were healed, but only one was grateful.
It is unfortunate that too often, many people, like the 9 lepers in the above scripture, do not express gratitude for the good things in their life, nor an appreciation for the people who do them good. According to scripture, a disposition of “unthankfulness” is characteristic of the unregenerate. It is also a grim reality of the last days and one of the signs of Christ’s soon return. In other words, the closer we get to the coming of Christ, the more unthankful people will be (2 Timothy 3:1-5) Un-thankfulness is rooted in the sin of self-love or selfishness, which is also mentioned in the same text
As we approach this season of Thanksgiving, planning our gatherings and prepping our meals, I encourage you to pause and heighten your sensitivity to the blessings bestowed by our God unto you Begin first with what is the worthiest of gratitude and that is salvation For those of us who are born again, before coming to Christ, life was beyond miserable. We were guilty, condemned, spiritually blind and with absolutely no means within ourselves to pay our debt for sin. Our destiny was stamped eternally damned and separated from God. BUT GOD, who is so rich in mercy, not only forgave us for our sins, but also rescued us from the penalty and power of our sins, redeemed our life from destruction, justified us, lifted us up to a place of blessing and placed our name in the Lamb’s book of life He’s also given us power and authority over the devil, all things to enjoy and He daily loads us with benefits. Hallelujah! Take a moment right now and give God thanks!
I also encourage you to pause and heighten your awareness of the people that God has placed in your life to bless your life. An incredible boss, a committed spouse, a devoted grandparent, a trusted friend, faithful church members and a loving pastor; these are all some of the personal gifts to you directly from the hand of God

These are those of whom I have been able to lean on, confide in, and have been a direct beneficiary of their help and resources. Take a moment to think about those who are there for you when you need it most. Perhaps they offered a helping hand or a kind word of encouragement, or helped you through difficult times, or afforded you with a significant, mind-blowing opportunity that advanced your life Consider ways that you can show appreciation. On October 4th and 6th, Kingdom Christian Church celebrated the 14th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Dr. Gabriel Rogers with a joyful event that included a museum exhibit and a dinner theater. This unique celebration honored Pastor Rogers' journey, showcasing how God has guided him throughout his life and ministry.
The museum highlighted key milestones, from his childhood admiration for his pastor to his flourishing life with First Lady Rogers and their family, and the establishment of businesses. Pastor Rogers' commitment and faithfulness to God have truly been shown in his life.

Make a list. Think through who you plan to buy gifts for. This helps to evaluate how much to spend. You should list the items you plan to purchase as well.

Meet Janie Williams! She enjoys basketball, flowers, and sitting by the lake in a place of peace. Her special interests include finances and educating others about financial discipline and the positive rewards of being disciplined in your finances.
Janie was invited by Felicia Carter to a finance workshop at KCC and she joined the ministry about a month later.
Janie loves the powerful atmosphere at KCC and knew it was her church home because the ministry shares her beliefs in being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues, as well as God wanting us to be wealthy and healthy and in perfect peace.
She attributes her personal and professional growth to planting her seed in good ground and partnering with KCC. She is thankful God led her to KCC and placed her under Pastor Roger’s covering, teaching, and example of living life in faith.
Fall Foliage: Leaves change color in the fall because trees stop producing chlorophyll, which gives leaves their green color. This allows other pigments like red, yellow, and orange to show through
Animals Change Color Too: Just like the leaves, some animals also change color in the fall. Arctic foxes and snowshoe hares begin to molt their brown summer fur and grow thick, white winter coats to blend into the snow.
Pumpkin Season: Fall is synonymous with pumpkins! They are technically a fruit and a member of the gourd family, and the U.S. produces over 1.5 billion pounds of pumpkins each year.
Fall Scent: The distinctive smell of fall comes from the leaves as they decompose, releasing a compound called geosmin, which gives off an earthy aroma.
Jesus and the Fig Tree: In Mark 11:12-14, Jesus curses a fig tree for not bearing fruit. This occurred during the fall season when figs would normally be harvested, symbolizing the importance of spiritual fruitfulness in the lives of believers.

We praise God for a successful Movies on the Green! It was a time of great fellowship, food, and most importantly, souls saved!
1 butternut squash- peeled and diced into cubes
32 ounces of vegetable broth
1-2 tsp. of salt
Instructions:
1. Add cut up butternut squash and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil then cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until squash is softened. 2.
in a dutch oven pot (or heavy pot) heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook until softened, about five minutes.
3. Carefully blend until smooth. 4. Serve in bowls with thyme if desired.
Carefully pour entire contents of pot into a blender. Add salt.
Kingdom Christian Church’s first-ever flag football team made its debut on Saturday, September 14, 2024, and wrapped up an impressive season on November 2, 2024. Led by Youth Minister Reggie Harper and Brother Ojay Johnson, the team finished with a remarkable 6:1 record.
As the church’s inaugural flag football team, they not only succeeded on the field but also developed valuable skills like teamwork, dedication, and commitment. This historic season marked the beginning of a new tradition at KCC, fostering both personal growth and a strong sense of community.
