Kingdom

Welcome To The Kingdom Youth Journal
Dear Reader,

We are so excited to introduce the Kingdom Youth Journal! I want to thank our Pastor for allowing us to have a space of our own where we can have fun writing, highlighting youth achievements and so much more. The readers of the Kingdom Youth Journal will see how exciting and cool it is to be a Christian youth. A lot of people think it’s not really cool to be young and a Christian. They think when you’re a Christian, you will not be cool, ever. Well, I don’t believe that’s true at all. Young people should never change or hide who they are just so people can think they are cool. That is actually uncool. I remember one time a guy at school was shocked when he asked me about a rap song, and I had never even heard of it because I don’t listen to rap. It is actually so cool to be so different and so bold for Jesus. In these articles, we will write about our experiences as Christian youth, happenings in the KCC Youth Ministry, and plenty of other topics that are relevant to youth of all ages.
We pray that you are blessed by this publication, and if you are a youth browsing, that these articles will bless and encourage you as a Christian. Our main goal is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many youth as we can.
Warmest regards,
CHRISTIAN ROGERS Editor-in-Chief

RESURRECTION SUNDAY Why We Celebrate

Salvation is the ultimate gift. It is something we could never earn, but it is available to us because of Jesus.
Resurrection Sunday is the perfect time to think about what salvation really means. It’s the day we celebrate that Jesus, after dying for our sins, came back to life. His death, burial, and resurrection made salvation possible for all of us. Without the resurrection Christianity would be a false religion, and we would still be stuck in our sins and separated from God (1 Corinthians 15:14 – 19). But Jesus changed all that.
Jesus died for all of us. He went through the pain and unimaginable suffering of the cross to take the punishment for our sins. Every lie, every bad choice, every time we mess up—Jesus paid for all of it with His life. But that wasn’t the end. After three days of being buried in a tomb, He rose again, showing that death couldn’t hold Him down. He conquered sin and death, offering us a chance to have new life in Him. So, what does that mean for us? It means that salvation is possible for anyone who believes in Jesus. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, Jesus offers forgiveness. It’s like He’s standing there with the door open, waiting for you to walk through. We don’t have to be perfect
or have everything figured out. We just need to trust that Jesus is who He says He is and accept the gift He’s offering and yes, give our life to Him.
Resurrection Sunday is not about chocolate eggs and big family dinners—it’s

PRAYER OF SALVATION
If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pray the following prayer in faith, and you will be saved!
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. According to Romans 10: 9-10, Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. Your word says that "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.
I AM SAVED!

| Allergy healing season Spring

I’m sure a lot of you have heard of Spring as “Allergy season”. However, there is no such thing as “allergy season” for the redeemed. As a child of God, we are redeemed from all sickness and all disease and that includes colds and yes, allergies from pollen and the onset of Spring.
All we need to do is have faith in God and take His word like medicine (Proverbs 4:20 – 22) and we can embrace and enjoy the Spring without a lot of coughing, sneezing and Allegra!
Remember, our healing was purchased for us by Jesus on the cross. All you have to do is receive it by faith. Whenever you feel allergy symptoms attacking your body, recite Isaiah 53:5 which says, But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our inequities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. You should make yourself a collection of healing scriptures and confessions that you can meditate on each day.
Whenever you feel those symptoms, get those scriptures and confessions out and say them out loud. Don’t stop until the manifestation of your healing comes.

Is Faith for Youth ?
Faith is not just for adults! Yes, faith is for youth! Even though we are young, we need to know that we have power over the devil and can use the power of God to change things.
The Bible shows youth that God can do anything! Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ that gives me strength.” What this passage is saying is that you can do anything through God, and we do it by faith. We can also sow seeds in faith and believe God for a harvest. Some time ago, my brother wanted a dog.
He sowed a seed in faith and named that seed by writing what he expected on the back of his envelope. Guess what? A few weeks later, he got the dog! This testimony is proof that faith IS for youth!

What MeansJesus to Me

Knowing the importance of Jesus is a huge thing! To me, He is an anchor when my boat is rocky. In Hebrews 6:19, the writer talks about our hope in Jesus as an anchor, meaning that He holds us steady when troubles come to shake our faith. Seeing Him as an anchor in our lives is special because He is quick to forgive. I have done things that I thought Jesus would never forgive but, that is not true. If you seek forgiveness, ask Him for it and He will give it to you. He loves and wants the best for us. I see Him as my best friend. Even if people leave us for being Christian, God says that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and that is a promise!
The first step to knowing how important Jesus is to us, is to accept Him as Lord and Savior. In Romans 10:9-10, we are reminded that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, we will be saved. Jesus is waiting with loving, caring, and open arms ready to receive you. I invite and encourage you to make Him Lord and Savior over your life today. It will be the best decision you ever make!
