Springing Into Action

James 1:22 Don’t be just a hearer of the word but a doer also.

vision at KCC We are progressing very well in our goals and so much of our fruit is due to members who believe in the ministry As I pondered what to write about, I was reminded of the need for action and more specifically “faith driven actions ” James 1:22 gives us one of the foremost foundational verses relative to taking action:

James 1:22 - Don’t be just a hearer of the word but a doer also.

What does God mean when He says, “don’t just hear the word?” I believe that God is saying to imitate Him in acting on the Word, we both hear and speak. Notice that since the beginning of creation God would speak a word and then we would see the product of what He said. He said, “Let there be light, and there was light.” However, most people do not realize that God also backed up His words with actionable steps to enact His will. He not only spoke the word, but He “did something.” When God made man, He did two things: 1. He spoke and 2. He formed. This means He put action to what He said. Hear the word of the Lord concerning the principles of speaking and acting: Genesis 1:26-27 - 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 2:7 - (New King James Version) - And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

In the Genesis account, God spoke so many things into existence but when it came to man he literally spoke and acted when He formed man from the dust. Every believer should make it their daily business to put “action” on what they are believing for and saying. It is our job to “make our world,” we must take life by the horns and create what we want. Solomon, one of the richest men who ever lived, had a revelation of action beyond just words.

Proverbs 14:23 (HCSB) - There is profit in all hard work, but endless talk leads only to poverty.

It is recorded that Solomon had all types of business activity going on around him constantly. I believe that Solomon was very diligent in his action, and this led to great levels of success in his life. So much so that other well-made people came to hear his advice:

1 Kings 4:34 - And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon.

Faith creates the prosperity that we desire in our lives. Most importantly, speaking and acting are the key ingredients to fulfilling the mandate that God has on each and every one of our lives. We must spring into action.

So what’s going on with the Vision at KCC? As of today, we continue to celebrate our first year of debt freedom! God is so very amazing, and I am so very grateful to all our donors for your love and support for the ministry. Today, we are building what I have coined our “Project Account.” There are so many initiatives that we would like to get done for the glory of God. As of today, we are considering another brick-and-mortar building to house our ministry activities, “we need more space.” I, along with some of my team members, are meeting with architects to do a “feasibility study” to gain insight on the exact type of structure to best support our futuristic vision. We are also continuing to expand our broadcast reach. Recently, our reporting in just the Charlotte market revealed that we have reached nearly 3 million households in 2023! These results are tremendous. As you know, we are in at least 5 states today and our reach is going very wide, “we are getting the Gospel out!”

We are asking you to prayerfully consider partnering with us at greater levels so that we can obtain more TV markets and build our “Project Account” in preparation of more campus development and acquisitions. We are also continuing our mission of the Grace House by helping women and children catch up and win in life! I’m excited about those ladies and babies who are being helped in that ministry Thank you partners for your contributions I believe that now is the time to “prepare for expansion ” I am so grateful to all our partners and know that as you help us reach lives you will partake in the same grace of success that is on our ministry. Know that I am praying for you often. Please also write us and tell us your testimonies of success as you sow into the vision.

With Love, Pastor

The Resurrection of Jesus is Absolutely Necessary

1 Corinthians 15:13 – 18 (NLT)

13 For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. 15 And we apostles would all be lying about God for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead. 16 And if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. 18 In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! 19 And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.

The resurrection of Jesus was not just another ordinary story or moment in history. It was a significant and very necessary, defining moment in history that changed everything. Jesus, who was no mere human being, but God in the flesh, was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, proving Himself to be the one and only true Messiah. There is no other person in history who died, remained dead for three days and rose from the dead. Jesus is the only One who has ever done that and will ever do so. His resurrection from the dead is necessary.

Everything that we read about in the Bible, Genesis to Revelation, hinges on Jesus’ resurrection. His resurrection is the foundation on which all that we profess as Christians rests. It is the capstone that holds our profession, all that we do, and literally, every page of scripture, together. His resurrection from the dead is necessary. If Jesus had not risen from the dead, the tenants of our faith would be worthless; absolutely worthless, of no value, and useless, basically on par with all other religions

Prayer of Salvation

If Jesus had not risen from the dead, the apostles and all writers of the New Testament would be liars; the entire Bible would be a disappointing lie. His resurrection from the dead is necessary. If Jesus had not risen from the dead, the Christian life would be a mockery, the best charade, and the greatest tragedy of all time. If Jesus had not risen from the dead, Christians would be the most miserable and pathetic people in the world and Christianity as we know it would crumble.

That Jesus died for our sins according to the scriptures and that He was buried and raised on the third day according to the scriptures, and that He is soon to return according to the scriptures is the Good News that is completely based on His resurrection from the dead. There is no Savior, but Christ; no Redeemer, but Christ; and no Lord, but Christ. Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever! Amen! (Revelation 5:13)

Kingdom Conference 2024 5 Days of Grace: Strengthening the Church

This year ’ s 2024 Kingdom Conference theme was“5 Days of Grace: Strengthening the Church” featuring Pastor Gabriel Rogers and guest speaker Pastor Rondy Long of Kingdom Church of Houston. Over five impactful days, attendees were immersed in nightly worship services and seminars designed to deepen their spiritual understanding of evangelism, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and championing our Pastor’s vision. Attendees walked away with a greater appreciation for KCC’s brand: Word of Faith, Spirit- Filled, Separation from the World, End Times with an understanding that signs, wonders and miracles is our difference.

The pre-service seminars brought a unique flavor to the learning experience. On Monday, the aroma of hot chocolate and freshly baked donuts filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for participants to engage in discussions and fellowship. Tuesday witnessed a delightful twist as a pizza food truck rolled in with New York style pizza and drinks. Midweek, the ministry spiced things up with Chick-fil-A on Wednesday.

Home Gardening Tips

Much in the same way that we give our homes a thorough “spring cleaning” after the winter months, we can also take the same approach to spruce up our gardens for the spring season. The Bible tells us in Genesis 8:22 ERV that “as long as the earth continues, there will always be a time for planting and a time for harvest”. The early spring season is a great time for planting new flowers and vegetation for the summer harvest. We have created a list of gardening tips to help you tackle all of your gardening tasks like a pro!

1.

Clean flower beds.

To prepare your flower beds, clear away all winter debris and dead leaves from the soil. Additionally, it is a good idea to remove old mulch. Remember to wear your gloves!

2.

Add new mulch around the flowerbeds.

This will give your garden a fresh look and it helps the soil to retain moisture. Be sure to spread the mulch evenly around your garden without getting too close to the plants themselves.

3.

Prune Evergreen trees and shrubs.

This will keep them healthy and looking their best as they produce foliage all year round. Pruning will also help to tame unwanted rapid growth.

4.

Plant flowers and vegetables suitable for early spring.

In the early spring, it is best to plant cool-season vegetables and hardy ornamental flowers. They can be planted once the soil is thawed to be ready for the summer harvest! Examples of cool-season flowers and vegetables include: Azaleas, Gardenias, Pansies, Dahlias, potatoes, artichokes, peas, and some lettuces.

Happy Gardening!

Member Testimony

I am here today with a GRATEFUL and HEALED heart! Let me tell you just how Amazing our God is!!

I was born with a heart murmur. I went through childhood and my early adulthood having episodes of pain in my chest to the point I would have to hold my breath until the pain went away.

In my early thirties, I started having episodes of palpitations and more frequent bouts of the severe pain so my family practitioner suggested I see a cardiologist for evaluation I scheduled an appointment with my grandmother’s cardiologist It was during that appointment, I was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse and mild mitral valve regurgitation I was told that this is likely what caused my heart murmur at birth It is a hereditary condition in women and my grandma had the condition, which was the condition that caused her to have a mitral valve replacement and pacemaker

The cardiologist told me mine was mild and may never progress to the point of valve repair But it was the cause of the pain from the valve sticking on the wrong side out (as a layman explanation) and that the palpitations were probably causing that to occur more frequently I was put on medication for the palpitations and began yearly cardiac testing to monitor the condition Throughout my thirties, the regurgitation showed little sign of worsening When I turned 40, the condition showed signs of worsening and I was rated mild to moderate In 2021, I had reached moderate with a history of consistent increased regurgitation since 2017 I had 27% regurgitation (backflow) of unoxygenated blood when my heart was pumping oxygenated blood to my body

In the summer of 2023, Pastor did an alter call for healing I almost didn't get up because I wasn't sick Then I heard the Lord say you have a heart that needs repaired I got in line and I just kept saying your heart valve is healed, there’s nothing to big for God Pastor laid hands on me that day and I told myself I was healed from the crown of head to the soles of my feet, it was done

In January, I scheduled my annual exam Between scheduling the appointment and going, Pastor made an announcement during the alter call that hearts are healed, heart conditions are healed, and I received that promise God was confirming I was one of the hearts healed so stand firm

I went to the Cardiologist on February 5, 2024, and was taken off the medication for palpitations I had been on for 15+ years because I had not had any episodes for months and they scheduled my echo that Friday to assess the regurgitation Five days later I received the echo test results The mitral valve regurgitation had gone from moderate (27% regurgitation) to "trace” regurgitation!!! Historically mitral valve regurgitation does not improve on its own, it can be treated to slow progression and symptoms, but the condition does not repair itself God did that!! There is no other name above the name of Jesus and there is nothing our God cannot do!!! Believe it and receive it!!! Thank you, Jesus!!!
