Today we celebrate a special milestone in your lives – a moment marked by hard work, sacrifice, and God’s faithfulness. Whether you are graduating from one season of school to the next or a teen stepping into adulthood, this accomplishment is one to be celebrated because, “this is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23).
The Scriptures tell us in Proverbs 2:6, "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." Your education is a gift from God. You have gained knowledge, but remember, it is God who gives wisdom and understanding. As you move forward, do not lean on your own understanding, but trust in His guidance. Let Him direct your paths, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
As you step into new opportunities, hold close the truth that your identity is not in your achievements, but in Christ. “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). Hold fast to the values and teachings you have learned. Stay grounded in faith, be a light to others, and let your life reflect the love and grace of God. Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
As you celebrate, take time to thank those who have supported you and above all, give thanks to God, who has brought you this far. Go forward with courage, humility, and faith. Keep learning, growing, and always seek to glorify God in all you do.
Congratulations graduates! May the Lord bless you and keep you, guide your steps, and fill you with peace.

love, Pastor Gabe & KCC Youth Ministry
