Time is Moving Fast

God bless you partners and members!

Can you believe that we are at another Spring? Time is seemingly moving at an even swifter pace than in years past. A few years ago, I preached a message at KCC called “The Supernatural Nature of Time”. The theme of this message was that as we approach the day of the coming of Jesus, time would move faster. I don’t believe that we are in the tribulation, but I do believe that we are dealing with “pre-tribulation times”. This is important because during the tribulation, God will shorten the days, for the elect sake. I believe that our shortened times are reflective in the fact that it seems like the days, weeks, and months are ending faster. Hear what the Bible has to say about shortened time spans:

Matthew 24:22

New King James Version

And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

Amos 9:13

New King James Version

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.

If the days are coming when “the plowman will overtake the reaper” this means that planting and harvesting seasons will literally run into each other in the “same time window.” This is supernatural and reflective of why we need to value and embrace the time we have, time will move faster as the days of Jesus return approaches.

We had a saying when I was a child that went like this “count the years as months, count the months as weeks and count the weeks as days.” This means that we should be very strategic with how we manage our time. We don’t have any time to waste and it’s important to move knowing this as a reality.

I recommend that you evaluate where all of your time is going. Don’t waste another minute on anything that is unfruitful. Since time is moving fast make every minute count. How do we make every minute count you might ask? Build your agenda around God’s plan and purposes for your life. This will include embracing your God-ordained assignment, evangelizing the lost, and rearing your family in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Only use the time God gave you to do the things that glorify the God who gave it to you. If you keep God first in your daily schedule, you’re sure to make the best of your time, “all of the time.” God bless you partners, it’s time to “Spring into Action”! Get a copy of our mini book productivity and get real serious about not wasting time.

With Love, Pastor Gabe

Productivity – Our work and productivity matter to God and are of the utmost importance to Him. God expects for those who bear His name to not simply live day-to-day, going through the motion, but to live a productive life bearing much fruit. All that we do should bring glory to God and whenever we work productively, we honor Him by maximizing the use of our time so that we can do more for His glory.

In Productivity, Dr. Rogers shares practical aspects of biblical productivity mentioned in the Scriptures to help Believers fulfill their God-ordained assignments

Prayer of Salvation

If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, pray the following prayer in faith, and you will be saved! Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus.  According to Romans 10: 9-10, Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and be Lord over my life. Your word says that "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.

I AM SAVED!

Don’tResist Change

Ephesians 4:30

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

When we are born again, there are many things we need to learn, and pertaining to the old man, things to unlearn. There are new habits relative to the Christian life that must be formed and all habits that must be broken. Sooner than later, we realize we cannot reproduce the character of Jesus on our own or by our own strength. A 50day challenge, will power, and our very best intentions are simply not enough. We need the Holy Spirit’s help and power to change us. Only the Holy Spirit has the supernatural power to make the necessary changes that God wants to make in us, but He requires our full willingness to cooperate with Him. To cooperate means “to work or act together towards a common end or purpose”. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman. He will never do His work in you, without you. If you rarely see the evidence of His Presence in your life, it is because you have suppressed His work by grieving Him. This should not be. The Holy Spirit’s power is manifested in your life to the extent that you allow Him to change you. The more you cooperate with Him, the more you will experience His power in and through you. Work, walk and depend on the Holy Spirit. Remember, He’s your Helper; all that you do can only be done with His help and by His power.

CHRISTIANITY

O U R B R A N D

At Kingdom Christian Church, Pastor Rogers has established our brand of “Comprehensive Christianity” which focuses on faith, separation from the world, end-time preaching, and being a Spiritfilled ministry Recently at our Kingdom Conference, held in February, Pastor Rondy Long conveyed the uniqueness of this brand by emphasizing how KCC is set apart from other ministries Our motto is “ Promoting the Agenda of Jesus Christ” Our brand is the sound doctrine that Pastor Rogers preaches day in and day out The meaning of a brand according to Google is a product (Christianity) or business (church) that has a DISTINCT identity in the perception of consumers (Christians/Believers) The brand is created through elements of design(look), packaging (preaching), and advertising (evangelism) that, as a whole, distinguish the product from its competitors (the world)

One of the distinctive elements of our brand is that we are a “Word of Faith” church We receive a message every week that encourages us believers to speak what we desire, in agreement with the promises and provisions of the Bible We believe what the Word says in 2 Corinthians 1:20, “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen” Also, in Romans 10:8, “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is the word of faith, which we preach” Pastor Rogers preaches just that, the Word of Faith Being in faith and receiving the Word is what leads you and I to salvation Romans 10:9 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” While there may be persecution and criticism from the world, we will continue to be a Word of Faith ministry and experience “good success”

In addition to preaching the Word of Faith, we are also a Spirit-filled ministry We have learned that receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is a gift from God that should not be rejected. We, at KCC, have been eyewitnesses of many signs, wonders, and miracles because of the power of the Holy Spirit flowing through our Pastor. The Bible tells us in Acts 2:4, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” This is for the edification of the church. Any Believer can be Spirit-filled by simply asking and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. KCC is now and forever will be a Spirit-filled ministry and as a result, we will always be a ministry of great power.

Separation is taught at KCC because the true church should not look like the world. A message can be preached at any time that urges Believers to separate themselves from anything that is not like God. 2 Corinthians 6:17 says, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” Christians should neither look nor act like the world. We are set apart for a purpose. Generally speaking, if the world embraces it, we should do the opposite We do not do the things we used to do prior to salvation 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new ” Because of the new birth experience (salvation), our very nature changes We no longer have a desire to indulge in sin, but we choose to live to please the One who has granted us new life in Jesus It is important to live in a manner that displays our appreciation for the Goodness of God so that the world will see and desire to become a part of God’s family as well

Last but certainly not least, we are an End-Times ministry Jesus is SOON to return! The Rapture is the next big event for the church. Pastor Rogers does not shy away from teaching about this subject because he desires for the church to be ready for the imminent return of Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 says, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” The Rapture is a time to look forward to as a Believer. We should wait with enthusiasm on the Lord and occupy till He comes. We still can have jobs, houses, cars, and money but, when Jesus comes what a day of REJOICING it will be!

ItTakesAllofThat: HowtoKeepWhatyou Received

Revelation2:25(KJV)-“ButthatwhichyehavealreadyholdfasttillIcome.”

Our Kingdom Conference was surely one to remember! We received powerful messages and experienced such a mighty move of God! Our Pastor taught a capstone message our final night of the conference entitled “It Takes All of That: How to Keep What You Received”. We learned that we should always be full of faith and power (Acts 6:8). Pastor Rogers gave us 4 categories of things that can cause drains in our lives and hinder us from remaining full of faith and power. It is imperative that Christians are aware of their drains. These drains will hinder us from keeping all of the knowledge, wisdom, faith, and power that we have received.

The Drains In Our Lives Are Categorized By: Carnality- being worldly minded; which include mundane things and all of your personal problems (Romans 8:6–8)

1. Religion - having a form of godliness but denying the power (2 Timothy 3:5)

2. People- it is key to remember that disciples can even be a drain (John 14:9)

4.

3. Deferred Hope- we must remain full of faith and power (Acts 6:8)

Evaluate areas in your life that may be impacted by drains and commit to surrendering those areas to God. Watch the full sermon to grow and develop in knowing how to keep what you have received from the Lord.

HOMEOWNERS THE GRIFFIN’S

Jesse and I longed to buy a home, and our pastor's encouraging words bolstered our faith when he spoke a word over us during a Sunday morning service However, we faced obstacles like our debt-to-income ratio, which persistently exceeded the threshold, limiting our loan options for the desired home. After a year, upon renewing our lease for six months determined to own a home we received a call from our realtor about a property that seemed perfect for us, especially with an upcoming special deal

We revisited the same financing company and got approved Yet, to access additional benefits, we needed to finance through the builder, who, unfortunately, denied our application. Our realtor urged us to keep the faith, while my husband suggested we may need to wait a little longer I remained undeterred, understanding the need to reduce our debt One morning, while driving to work on a usually empty road, I stopped at a red light behind a car with "faith" emblazoned on it and a "suddenly" license plate. I shared this sign with my husband. That afternoon, our realtor relayed that if we could provide the approval

"The value of being connected to a pastor and church grounded in God's promises is immeasurable."

letter from the financing company, the builder might reconsider Indeed, we were later approved with conditions, including settling specific debts by a deadline and making an earnest money deposit We initially paid $1,000 of the $5,000 earnest money but were then advised that it was sufficient and the additional $4,000 was not required I informed a family member of what we needed to pay and unexpectedly received a check for a significant amount to cover all debts that needed to be settled

While we were still within our six-month lease, our apartment complex allowed us to leave without penalties and issued us a refund During the closing, we were quoted a certain amount but ultimately owed less than $100.00. Notably, I am writing this testimony on March 27, 2024, the day we marked one year of homeownership One lesson to impart is never to lose faith; you never know what God is orchestrating behind the scenes The value of being connected to a pastor and church grounded in God's promises is immeasurable. Lastly, having a realtor who trusts in God is unparalleled.

Spring Cleaning Tips Spring Cleaning Tips

Spring is here, which means it is time for spring cleaning! Spring cleaning can be an exciting time of exercising faith to clear away the old and make room for the new things that are to come in this Breakout Year! Here are a few tips for making your home “spic and span” this season.

Start with fresh cleaning utensils.

Before starting any of your spring cleaning, you want to ensure that you are using either new or newly disinfected sponges, scrub brushes, rags, etc. We do not want to spread germs while we are cleaning.

De-gunk the garbage disposal.

Within the daily chores of doing dishes and wiping down counters, we often forget to clean the kitchen garbage disposal. To clean, sprinkle ½ cup baking soda into the garbage disposal plus 1 cup of white vinegar and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Run hot water to rinse while the disposal is running. Additionally, you can finish this easy spring-cleaning tip by placing a few lemon rinds into the disposal and running for 15-30 seconds allowing the disposal to take on a fresh scent.

Clean your walls and baseboards.

Walls gather fingerprints, dust, scrapes, and grime buildup from candles/fires all winter.

Cleaning them is such a great way to spruce up your home and create a new, fresh atmosphere for the spring.

Get rid of old and expired items.

Do you keep track of the expiration date on canned goods, medicines, and makeup? Do you scan your closet for old and worn clothing/shoes? This is an excellent way to declutter, reorganize, and prepare for new fresh things.

Don’t forget about the appliances!

It’s easy to forget about cleaning large appliances in our homes

To clean the dishwasher: First, clean the dishwasher filter and drain. Next, fill a bowl with 1 cup of white vinegar and place it on the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Run on a hot cycle.

To clean the washing machine: Run the washing machine on a hot cycle with 2 cups of white vinegar instead of detergent. Next, use a sponge + a mixture of vinegar and water to scrub the basin.

Healthy Habit Tips

Adopting healthy eating habits is essential for overall well-being and can contribute to better physical health, increased energy levels, and improved mood. Here are some tips to help you develop and maintain healthy eating habits:

1 Eat a Balanced Diet: Aim to include a variety of foods from all food groups in your meals This includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Each food group provides essential nutrients that are necessary for optimal health.

2. Portion Control: Pay attention to portion sizes to avoid overeating. Use smaller plates, bowls, and utensils to help control portion sizes and prevent mindless eating Be mindful of serving sizes recommended by nutrition guidelines

3. Eat Regularly: Establish a regular eating schedule and try to eat meals and snacks at consistent times throughout the day Eating regularly can help regulate hunger and prevent excessive snacking or overeating later in the day

4 Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated Water is essential for digestion, metabolism, and overall bodily functions. Aim to drink at least eight glasses of water per day, and more if you're physically active or in hot weather.

5. Limit Processed Foods and Sugary Drinks: Minimize consumption of processed foods, fast food, sugary snacks, and sugary beverages like soda and fruit juices These foods are often high in calories, unhealthy fats, and added sugars, which can contribute to weight gain and health problems

6. Focus on Whole Foods: Choose whole, minimally processed foods whenever possible Whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and lean proteins are nutrient-dense and provide essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber

7. Meal Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare meals ahead of time to ensure healthy options are readily available. Batch cooking, meal prepping, and stocking up on healthy snacks can help you make better food choices throughout the week and reduce reliance on convenience foods.

8. Mindful Eating: Practice mindful eating by paying attention to your body's hunger and fullness cues Eat slowly, savoring each bite, and stop eating when you feel satisfied, rather than overly full Avoid distractions like television or screens while eating to focus on the sensory experience of eating

9 Include Fiber-Rich Foods: Incorporate fiber-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes into your diet. Fiber helps promote digestive health, keeps you feeling full longer, and may lower the risk of certain chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes.

10. Moderation, Not Deprivation: Practice moderation rather than strict deprivation when it comes to indulging in less healthy foods Allow yourself occasional treats or indulgences in small portions, but aim to make healthier choices the majority of the time

11. Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how different foods make you feel physically and emotionally Notice how certain foods affect your energy levels, mood, digestion, and overall well-being Adjust your eating habits accordingly to support your body's needs

12. Seek Professional Guidance if Needed: If you have specific dietary concerns or health conditions, consider consulting with a registered dietitian or nutritionist for personalized guidance and recommendations tailored to your individual needs and goals.

By incorporating these tips into your daily routine, you can develop healthier eating habits that support your overall health and well-being in the long term Remember that healthy eating is about balance, variety, and enjoyment, so find ways to make nutritious choices that fit your lifestyle and preferences.
