Taste Of Timmins

“Something will have gone out of us as a people if we ever let the remaining wilderness be destroyed; if we permit the last virgin forests to be turned into comic books and plastic cigarette cases; if we drive the few remaining members of the wild species into zoos or to extinction; if we pollute the last clear air and dirty the last clean streams and push our paved roads through the last of the silence...” ~Wallace Stegner

“The packaging for a microwavable “microwave” dinner is programmed for a shelf life of maybe six months, a cook time of two minutes and a landfill dead-time of centuries.” ~David Wann “For 200 years we’ve been conquering Nature. Now we’re beating it to death.” ~Tom McMillan “Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together.” All things connect.” ~Chief Seattle “Take care of the earth and she will take care of you.” ~Author Unknown “When we heal the earth, we heal ourselves.” ~David Orr
