Our tips for wellbeing through reading/writing

Reading and writing bring a quiet kind of happiness. They offer comfort, help you make sense of your thoughts, and let you explore new ideas and worlds. Reading connects you to others through stories and experiences, while writing allows you to express what words sometimes struggle to say. Together, they create space for reflection, imagination, and peace. In Lithuanian class, we practice writing to express our thoughts clearly and develop skills like critical thinking and creativity. It helps us learn how to build arguments and communicate effectively. During English class, we read detective stories that improve our vocabulary, comprehension, and ability to follow complex plots, all while making reading exciting and engaging.

In the world of stories, books are secret doors and writing is the magic key. Every page turns into a map, guiding you through lands of mystery, wonder or memory. As we study Italian, our pens become magic wands: we learn to give shape to our thoughts, to transform ideas into words and to give birth to new worlds from silence. We follow our imagination or sometimes we tell real or plausible stories, where every story hides clues and curiosities. All journeys, silent but powerful, teach us to think, dream and understand.

Our topic is Reading and Writing, because these activities help students feel better, happier and less stressed at school.

Reading is a good way to relax. When we read, we can imagine new places and different people. This helps us forget about problems for a while. Writing also helps us feel better, because we can write about our thoughts and feelings.

For example, in our school, we sometimes write short stories or keep a diary in class. This helps us be creative and express emotions. Some students also read books in the library, which is a quiet and calm place.

Also, when we read together or talk about books, we feel closer to our classmates. That’s why we think reading and writing are great for students’ well-being.

Writing allows us to improve our motor skills and helps us express ourselves when we don't know who to talk to or how to talk.

You also can write your own book, because this can improve your creativity and then read it, and give away it for your family and friends.
