Minster Matters
MINSTER COMMUNITY LED PLAN This eagerly anticipated Plan has been produced and is enclosed within this issue of Minster Matters. Thanks to the MM team for distributing it. In April a questionnaire was delivered to every household and business in the Parish. The enclosed report is the result of the analysis of the questionnaires returned. The document was presented to Minster Parish Council at their September meeting and copies will be sent to Thanet District Council, Kent County Council and other Agencies so the views of residents will be represented when forming future strategic plans.
Your Friendly Village Magazine Issue Number 152: October 2013 ISSN 1755-9502 (Print) : ISSN 1755-9510 (Online) : ISSN 1758-4175 (CD-ROM)
At the back of the report there is an ‘Action Plan’ and the issues raised will be considered by Minster Parish Council at future meetings. Some of the matters raised by residents are already being considered by the Parish Council and in some cases are already being acted upon. There were so many extra comments noted during the analysis of the questionnaires that it was not possible to include them all within the document but these will be called upon by the Parish Council when specific items are considered. Finally the Steering Group, under the Chairmanship of John Shervington, has worked hard to produce this document but we all realise that nothing would have been achieved without the generous support of the residents. On behalf of the Community Led Plan Team a big thank you residents of Minster. Roy Wade Project Coordinator
