November 10, 2021 Notice of Interim MGBA President It is with great sadness that we see the retirement of our long standing President Mr Rodney Surawski. This is a great loss for the Club but thankfully he is remaining on the Board as a Committee member. This will free up time to concentrate on the future growth of his own Stud, Stoney Creek Farm. Until the next AGM, we welcome on board Mr Stephen Fagg who has taken on the role like a duck to water. Thank you Stephen Fagg, we are very lucky The link to the first MGBA calendar is now live go to the "Forms" page on the MGBA website to order yours now! You'll notice you can order 1 to 4 at a time - if you require 5 or more going to the same address please contact Jan: rjanjanr@gmail.com and we can arrange direct delivery. Orders of 1 to 4 will be sent from our Secretary who has them all ready to ship out to you. If you're heading to any shows in Tassie or Victoria Stephen Fagg and Seleena Nichols also have some on hand for you to buy direct from them. Calendars are $20 in person or $25 including postage. We hope you really love them.
Nov 9, 2021 - Notice – Update [clarification] to Show Rules For all animals that carry a combination of imported DNA over 25% – i.e 25% Pygmy or ND. These animals will be typically 18.75 % of one imported breed and then a % of over 6.25% of the other imported breed. These animals will be classified in the system as “Crossbreed” and the DNA percentage will be added into the registration number. These animals won’t be eligible to be shown as they are outside of our current show rules however we expect they will make wonderful breeding animals for the next generation.
