This 200,000 square foot facility is located at 2201 Harpers Road and is Amazon's 17th delivery station in Virginia. Additionally, a 650,000 square foot Amazon fulfillment center is under construction in Virginia Beach and is expected to open later this year, creating over 1,000 jobs.

(WAVY) – A company that handles large orders for the U.S. military is expanding in Virginia Beach.A groundbreaking was recently held to signal the beginning of construction on a 40,000 square-foot warehouse expansion for ADS. According to a news release, the expanded space will allow ADS to handle larger orders, get deliveries out faster and streamline its military supply chain operations.

Glenn Youngkin announced Monday. The project is going on a combined 237 acres. It will be the company ’ s 14th fulfillment and sortation center and 17th delivery station in Virginia.

Virginia Beach,Va.ViDARR Inc.: This manufacturer of defense optical equipment, including night vision goggles and thermal optics, announced in March 2025 that it will open a new manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach, investing $2.69 million and creating 40 jobs.

Governor Glenn Youngkin today announced Acoustical Sheetmetal Company, a manufacturer of highly engineered steel and aluminum enclosures for the power generation industry, will invest $45.8 million to expand their operations by building an additional 250,000-square-foot building and adding significant machinery to complement the operation in the City of Virginia Beach. The project will create 350 jobs.
